Order not ready at designated time. Lot of people waiting on orders. My first experience at this location and not going well. Order 20 minutes. Counter person making it well known it’s only his third day. Feel sorry for one group in Dining room as getting their order piece by piece over the last 20 minutes and just seeing manager appear to talk to them

Update 2: This location has always provided a great “pie” and great service… but I have to lower my rating as today, as my order on Christmas Eve seemed “dry or over-cooked” and like it had been sittng around for awhile. The service was still excellent however, so I am only reducing one star. Will revisit this after my next order.
Update: My original post was nearly a year ago. We’ve been back several times since… and EVERY time, the food and the service was EXCELLENT. Keep it up Grimes Godfathers!

Ordered 4 pizzas to be delivered. The wait was not really a problem have always enjoyed there pizzas. The problem was that the delivery driver delivered to the house across the street from me. The neighbors didn’t even bother to say it wasn’t there’s. Called the store in Grimes and got a free giant cookie pizza. Went out side to wait for the driver. This time I said finally. And he delivered to my next door neighbor with me standing there and completely ignored me saying those are mine. Called again got my whole order for free and the manager personally delivered it. Comfiermed my affress was right. Was told the driver thought since he was in the right neighborhood all units are numbered the same. He got fired that night. If you want delivery think it over. Picking up is your best option.

The pizza tasted awful. There was hardly any sauce, and it tasted like a frozen pizza. We ordered one supreme pizza and one supreme pizza withput the pepperoni. They left off the pepperoni on both pizzas. Very long wait for the pizza.

The little things are noticed. This seems like the owner cares about this place. Holiday decor and wonderful seasonal music. Staff was friendly and fast…a couple young boys that served us were exceptional examples of kids today. They were awesome. No one seemed to wait too long for anything, seating available for those who arrived early for their pizza. A++

It had been so long since we ate at a sit down pizza place when we came here recently. This definitely brought back memories from when I was a kid, the aroma, the excitement when the pizza came out. I’m glad this restaurant is here. And of course Godfather’s pizza is the best!

This was a very important event for our family.. thankfully the food was perfect and DYLAN was on time and the most professional and courteous driver we have ever had!!! Called and ordered 5 pizzas, 3 large and 2 medium. We picked them up at 5:20 pm. Had family pick them up and brought back only 3 larges. Came to find out they forgot to give us the medium pizzas! Called back to have them all freshly remade and went to pick them back up. When we got there at 6 pmand got all 5 pizzas again, the 2 mediums were the same pizzas that had been sitting there since 5:00 pm… the staff were unfriendly and did not care they tried to pull a fast one on us. Never again. Avoid at all costs.
