Wow! Not your average breakfast spot. The bright and inviting atmosphere complete with its nostalgic neon signs welcomes you. Then, there’s the glass showcases featuring fresh baked goods…yum!! . The menu is a refreshing change from the ordinary. Portions are plentiful and the coffee is served in individual carafe’.

I ordered the Strawberry Lemon Swirl Cheesecake bar to go but ended up eating it at the cafe, and it was really good! The prices are affordable, the cafe has a cozy atmosphere, and the staff are friendly. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a casual hangout spot!

I love bringing my girls to Goddess and the Baker when we visit Chicago. It is always a delicious breakfast or afternoon treat. This time we ordered the Tiramisu & Matcha lattes. They were good. The bagel and schmear was very good. Service was good and the food and drinks were ready quickly.

Awesome atmosphere. First time here. The staff are lovely and nice and generous with their time. Tried the chocolate croissant and coffee. Yummmmmm. The dark chocolate outside and the creamy chocolate inside was incredible and plentiful…. Plenty of chocolate for those who really love as much chocolate as possible!!

Solid coffee with a good selection of pastries. Staff were friendly but at the time of visiting the pastry staff were very backed up. Ended up having to wait close to 10 minutes just to get a croissant.

Location was beautiful. Easily accessible to location. Pastries were okay. Lots of regular menu items to choose from. Not many kid-friendly options. Service wasn’t great.

stopped for lunch after cheering on a family member running the chicago marathon, and so happy we did! no wait and our food came only a few minutes after we sat down! I got the Little Gem Chicken Caesar—absolutely delicious. staff was very nice as well.

Honestly we liked this place so much we went back there again before we left Chicago. Food and drinks were both delicious. Nothing else to say other than if you need a light lunch or coffee stop in.

This place is amazing! I especially love coming here for the salmon plate, it is delicious every time. They are consistent, and their pastries are great too. Seating can be a little hard to find, but at least that is good thing because it means the place is good. Definitely worth trying out, and definitely coming back! Their loose leaf tea is also amazing

This was one of the highlights of our Chicago trip!
We walked in here at about 11 on a Sunday and the place was almost full. I ended up ordering a lot of food – the Rainbow pastry, Pumpkin Apple Butter Latte, the Smoked Salmon Plate, the Breakfast of the Goddess and a parfait.
Everything was presented beautifully as you can see in the pictures. Will definitely make it a point to be back and try more of their stuff when I’m back in the city.
