Adorable, quaint little restaurant in downtown Havana, with lots of options on the menu. We tried four different things, and all of it was delicious. My MIL said it was the best meatball sub she’s ever had! I loved my chicken gyro, and my husband loves the Havana Bowl. My 7yo demolished her chicken club, with that giant bowl of Mac & cheese as her side. Definitely need to come back, so I can try that meatball sub for myself next time!

I recently visited Gocki’s Restaurant at 102 8th Ave W, in Havana, FL. I had a very good experience having lunch at this place. I placed my order at the counter and had a short wait for my sandwich and pasta salad. They were both delicious and I would recommend this place.

Great homemade style hamburger, first item on the menu, if you’re looking for it. Best of all they managed to serve it up with the extras that I asked for less the things I didn’t want. It’s always great when a place actually listens to how you’d like to have your food and deliver it like that there the staff were really friendly too. Arrive early because all the tables were quickly taken up so to be polite I edited the faces out of the restaurant shots.

incredibleee food, such a surprise for a little place in a little town. everything we got was amazing, the only sad thing was that they were out of their pasta salad, which i’m so sure was also amazing and i can’t wait to come back and try it. the fish tacos, buffalo chicken tacos, and sweet potato waffle fries were all the definition of PERFECTION. 10/10 will be making the drive over from Panama City to come back and eat here again!

If you left Havana and drove the roughly 500 miles to Key West, then hopped a boat for the 90 mile trip to Cuba, you STILL couldn’t get a better Cuban sandwich than the one these folks offer!
Absolutely FANTASTIC!
My wife ordered the Meatball Sub, and God bless her, she tried to tell me how delicious it was, but that Cuban had me in such a state of bliss that I was only able to catch bits and pieces of what she was saying.
We will absolutely be back for more!

10 stars! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

We are on a day trip visiting Florida State Parks, and searched between Torreya State Park and Lake Jacson Mounds State Park for a lunch spot. Gocki’s came up, the reviews looked good and they had our favorites (club and meatball sub).

It’s in a quaint square, surrounded by antique markets. The eatery is very open. You order at the counter, receive a number, and they bring your food to you. We ordered (you guessed it) a Club Sandwich with fries and a Meatball Sub with fries. I had a diet coke (bottled with a cup of ice to pour it over), and my husband had the sweet tea (he felt it was just sweet enough). The food is made to order, so you may have a wait depending on how busy. Our food was out pretty quick. We both really enjoyed our sandwiches. The fries were fresh and tasty. The woman who took our order had an opportunity to check in on us, and have a quick chat. She was very friendly. If we’re back this way around mealtime, we’ll definitely stop back by.

Wow talk about a diamond in the rough!! We decided to try something different and we happened to roll past and decided to stop in. It was eclectic and comfortable. I ordered the Shrimp Alfredo and my wife got the Buffalo chicken pasta. For desert they had chocolate cake and pistachio cheesecake. The food and desert was just amazing, great service! We will be back!!!

Saturday was the 1st time here. 1st impressions are everything! I love the charm and feel of this place. I really felt like I was part of a family. Like they knew me forever!
The food was super fresh and well made. The chef was a comedian as well. Lol.
I can’t wait to go back to try more items from the menu. Honestly, if more restaurants had the customer service that this place does…Wow. Other places need to take notes from the way this place does business…really!!!!

UPDATE: Nothing has changed but the location. Food is so yummy!!
The Cuban is my personal fav!

Food has been good the 2 times we’ve visited but after today, we won’t be back.
A woman came up on the patio and tied her small Yorkie dog to a table and entered the restaurant to order. The man taking orders told her that if it’s not a service animal, it can’t stay. There is no signs stating such. 99% of restaurants with patios allow dogs without any questions and usually even provide water bowls for them. There is no health code restrictions on dogs being on the patio. The children of other patrons in the restaurant running around wild and being extremely disruptive were much more of a concern than a 12lb dog under the table on the patio. Reading another review a month ago to the same effect shows that apparently the staff here just doesn’t like dogs. This restaurant is located in “Florida’s Friendliest Small Town” and that was anything but.
Not to mention, you seat yourself, go to the counter to place your order, serve your own drinks, and bus your own tables. So to say the service is lacking at Gocki’s is a gross understatement.
