The best Hue food! Bun bo hue is a MUST! Love all the condiments on the table (chili sate oil, sambal, fermented shrimp paste/mam ruoc, fish sauce/nuoc mam, etc.). The sampler plate #18 is a great way to try a bunch of things at one time. Their prepared fish sauce (nuoc cham) is so good and be sure to ask for fresh sliced Thai chilies to really amp up flavor, if you like spice. I wish they had a location in Austin.

Goc Hue offers flavorful bun bo hue that truly stands out, and their nem lui is just as delicious. The dishes taste fresh and authentic, and the portions are satisfying. Service is friendly and attentive.

Goc Hue had awesome food for a great price! Staff was super friendly too. Authentic Vietnamese food that is worth eating is too hard to come by, but this place makes it easy!

Located in Garland, Texas. A typical family-run restaurant with central Vietnam flavored. We went for plates to share with each others. Good preparations with right portions. Not too long wait time after ordering. The spring roll is so-so. Other plates are typical of central region. The seared grounded pork is very good.

So good! Very authentic place that has dishes that other vietnamese places don’t offer often. Owner was really nice and she don’t skip on ingredients due to cost just to ensure it’s as authentic as possible. Dishes are very flavorful and visually appealing. 10 out of 10

I came here specifically to try the Bun Bo Hue and it was a fine bowl for sure. The service and ambiance was above average for a Vietnamese restaurant, and the place was clean and service was brisk. The portions was big and the beef was soft and flavorful. The pig hock was typical of any Bun Bo Hue, not too tough or soft. The flavor of the soup was on the softer and more subtle side, but you could add more chili sauce to enhance the taste to your linking. Overall I would recommend this place for Bun Bo Hue.

This place is hands down my go-to for Bun Bo Hue! Even though I’m on a low-carb diet, they make it so easy to enjoy authentic Vietnamese flavors. My order is always the Bun Bo Hue with no noodles and extra steamed vegetables, and it’s absolutely perfect. The broth is rich, aromatic, and packed with that bold, comforting flavor you expect from a great bowl of Bun Bo Hue.
What I love most is that I get to fulfill my Vietnamese food cravings without breaking the caloric bank! 10/10

Step through the doors of Góc Huế and you’re not just walking into a restaurant —
You’re stepping into the rhythm of central Vietnam, where tradition whispers through herbs, broths, and fire.
Every dish tells a story.
The Chả Giò crackles with intent — golden, tightly rolled, and bursting with balance.
Gỏi Mít, a rare find, stuns with jackfruit’s silk and shrimp’s savor — a texture poem.
But it’s the Bún Bò Góc Huế that steals the breath.
A bowl so rich, so painstakingly layered, it humbles you.
Tender beef shank melts into a broth brewed with soul,
A deep, earthy heat laced with lemongrass and love —
None of the shortcuts common in other kitchens.
This isn’t copy-paste Vietnamese — it’s handcrafted Huế.
You’ll taste it in the Bánh Lọc, in the crunch of house-fried rice crackers,
In the Cơm Hến — wild, herbaceous, and alive.
Even the drinks — passionfruit juice, Vietnamese espresso — carry the mark of care.
Where others mimic, Góc Huế embodies.
It’s more than a meal. It’s an homage —
To a city, a cuisine, and a culture too often diluted.
Let the pho shops have their fame.
Those who know, know this is the heart of Vietnamese cooking.

I wish this place was closer to me so I could visit more often! They serve dishes that aren’t found at most Vietnamese restaurants in DFW. We ordered bánh ướt thịt nướng, bánh khoái, bánh béo chén, and bánh nậm and everything was amazing. The tables were clean, service was quick and attentive, and the food is priced well. Fish sauce is the only dipping sauce needed imo.

Presentation is good. But Bánh beo doesn’t have pasted green beans. I love BB with green beans.
Bún Bo Huế doesn’t meet my standard. Not enough lemon grass taste. The broth is not flavored.
