We are a small, locally owned ice-cream/candy store. We are open seasonally from Memorial Day Weekend through the middle of October. We offer something for everyone! Homemade ice-cream sandwiches and drumsticks! We proudly serve over 50 different flavors of Ice-Cream.

We stopped here and were pleasantly surprised. It had been 15 years since we’ve been in the store and it’s totally revamped and amazing inside. So many ice cream flavors and gourmet chocolates. Hard to make a choice. I highly recommend you stop here if you’re staying at Turkey Run Campground or going to the Sugarcreek Valley canoe rental

It was our first experience there and it was great. Super friendly staff. Their baked good are great. The ice cream is simply fantastic. Fresh made waffle cones and they were massive. We did not get one, but their ice cream cookie sandwiches were enormous! I wasn’t super hungry and that was a mistake. Go hungry!! Servicing sizes were how they used to be. An excellent date or family stop. If you are there for Covered Bridge Fest, make the stop.

Enjoyed a delicious ice cream cone here after a hike at Turkey Run. The portions are huge! I got raspberry road runner and another flavor that was Oreo, chocolate, peanut butter. One thing I really appreciate is that they accommodated our large group and were easygoing with us just relaxing outside for about an hour.

Excellent little ice cream shop right off the highway. They have a bunch of flavors and they move you through the line quickly. I had the shake with the cold brew and it was excellent. Wife and kiddo had regular ice cream and they give you lots of it. Prices were reasonable. They do have other treats and merchandise to buy as well.

Gobbler’s Knob is out traditional ice cream stop when going to Turkey Ryan State Park.
I’m guessing Gobbler’s Knobb is a family run operation since the staff has been the same for many years, and they remember us even though we only visit once or twice a year.
They have a huge option of ice cream, and are super generous about giving samples to help make your decision (and my kids seem to need a lot of samples before they make up their mind – I think they are working the system )
Prices are fair, and the ambiance is really cool.
