Yes you already know…. Monday nights is what I look forward too. Lol no but seriously I’ve been coming here for years and every time it feels like the first time. It’s real pizza not like these other places through out the city, I won’t say any names. You know who u are…. cardboard crust and imitation ingredients from the freezer yuck. At goat hill toppings are fresh and the crust is the best part. Keep up the good work and don’t ever go out of business thank you..

Always packed and popular! We love the all you can eat pizza and salad buffet Monday nights! Just be aware they stop putting pizzas in the oven/hardly have any more at 8:30… don’t come after 7:45 pm if you don’t want to worry about having enough! That’s the only thing I wish they would change…

This is one of those places that I consider old school San Francisco, a neighborhood gem and one I wish will never go away and stay just the way it is.
I’ve been going to this place since the early 80’s, in my college years, through working various jobs in the city and living in different neighborhoods, and now into the latter years.
Its food is good in all regards, a reliable standard, the staff friendly and the facility remains in good order after all these years. So perhaps it isn’t just the food, the staff and the restaurant, but in the aspect that it also holds a lot of good memories from the past with old friends and previous dates, it’s precious in that way for me.
Keep on rockin’ Goat Hill Pizza, they don’t make restaurants like you anymore.

Utterly fantastic little hidden gem of a pizzeria. The staff is beyond friendly and genuinely love their pizza and their customers. The pizza itself is out of this world and I tried the buffet which gives you access to one hot slice after another. This is a must do Monday only tradition.
The crust is a perfectly crisp sourdough and toppings and all ingredients are of the highest quality.
Why are you even reading this! Go out and eat here now!
Parking is very easy. Especially for SF. Safe neighborhood.

Pizza is served HOT with a crispy crust. Flavorful tangy sauce, steaming cheese and topping, and a nice crackle. The pictures drawn by kids who had visited that were hung up were charming. The silverware and napkins were not entirely clean though, but hey, it’s pizza.

The pizza is absolutely delicious, with a perfectly crispy crust, rich sauce, and generous toppings that make every slice satisfying. The casual, old-school atmosphere gives the place so much character and makes it feel authentically San Francisco. It’s a great spot to gather with friends, grab a beer, and enjoy a relaxed, no-frills dining experience.

Classic San Francisco neighborhood spot for sourdough pizza and family dinner vibes. The highlight for me is the crust. Their signature sourdough is what makes the pizza a total standout—it’s tangy, crunchy, and sets up the whole pie perfectly. I always recommend going for one of their specialty options; the Hilda’s Favorite (pesto and goat cheese) is one of my favorites, but I’m also a fan of the porky pie (with whole roasted garlic cloves and bacon)..
My biggest tip? If you can handle the crowd, check out their legendary All-You-Can-Eat Monday night. Just be warned, you’ll probably have to wait awhile to get seated, but it’s a fun, chaotic tradition.

Great sourdough crusted pizza! A true classic of San Francisco. The only downside is that they don’t have in-house seating due to the pandemic. Their pizza is great to take to-go and their staff is very friendly!
