A group of people and me flew into this part of Montana recently, aiming to have a nice vacation at the Glacier National Park. We landed with a couple hours to kill before our ride arrived, so we settled in at the Goat Haunt Saloon. Seemingly the only sit down bar/restaurant in the airport.

Ambiance was nice. Plenty of loungey seating available near the beautiful bar and surrounded by the giant windows looking out upon the tarmac. We had no issues getting comfy and eating and drinking while we waited.

Service was really great. We had a nice local who gave us some tips and tricks about the area, and she made genuine recommendations. We trusted her. She got us our drinks in a timely manner. No mocktails at this bar, though. Not too surprising for Montana.

As for the food, it was good! I had a cheeseburger. It had a nice bun, was cooked well, had a nice char, plenty of fresh veg toppings, a very nice burger. I ordered the crinkle fries, though. Don’t. Get the chips instead. They were much better.

I also got to try the fried chicken mac ‘n’ cheese. Wow, this was good! The mac was just the right amount of cheesy, the chicken was fried extra crispy, wasn’t too oily, and was served in a nice Montana-sized portion. Very yummy.

Overall, if you happen to be stuck at this airport, the Goathaunt Saloon would be an excellent use of your time and stomach space. I’d come back.

This is the only restaurant in the whole airport and frankly they managed to FLEX!

Yes service is great, yes beer collection is awesome, but that food menu! GOD DAMN!

If i lived here i would buy a refundable ticket once a week so i can get past TSA for a sandwich!

We had an amazing experience at the Goathaunt Saloon before our flight! If you get to sit in Holli’s section you’re in the best hands! She made the whole experience 5 stars. The restaurant was busy with lots of travelers and she didn’t even break a sweat taking care of me and my family.

The Gouda Mac and cheese is 5 stars the chicken tacos were unbelievable. The portions are large so consider sharing! Thank you Holli- you made our last moments so wonderful before we left Montana.

Delicious food and great service. Had the tuna melt and the caprese sandwhich and both were amazing. Looking forward to the next stop here.

This is great airport food with fast service and a nice sitting area near gate 1. Had the bison brisket and it didn’t change my life but it was good and for an airport it was great! Skip the line at places towards the center of the terminal and walk on down.

Nice stop for a quick meal before flying out of the airport. Chicken in the tacos was dry. Beans and rice were nice, great texture but seasoned different- not bad just different. My salad was perfect and just the right amount of food that I needed.

After a flight cancellation my family decided to eat at Goat Haunt Saloon in the Glacier Airport. My son has Alpha-gal and can’t have red meat and has to worry about cross contamination. He ordered a chicken burrito. After ordering our waitress came back and said the cook couldn’t cook it separately in a frying pan and would only make it on the grill (shared) because he was too busy. This is the first restaurant in 2 years and 4 countries that refused to cook his food separately. Shame on you Goat Haunt.

To clarify we were told no twice by the both the waitress and the manager who told me the cook refused to cook my son’s meal in a separate pan.

Great restaurant for a small airport! I had a tuna melt. For vegetarians, there are options for a beyond burger or caprese sandwich. Prices are reasonable for an airport. Service was slower than most airport restaurants, but reasonable in general.

We all know airport food, gifts, etc. are more expensive than average. With that being said, I stop at this quick eatery shop to grab coffee and a small sandwich. Needless to say the sandwich was super super pricey, which is fine (I’m at the airport). The kicker to this place beside the over priced sandwich and coffee was how horrible it was. It tasted old and gross!! I was pissed I paid for such a bad piece of food. The cherry on top of this horrendous experience was the bad, no-personality, unhappy clerks at the counter.
Overall a bad choice in my opinion with a recommendation to bypass this place!

We ordered drinks as we were hanging out for our flight, including a $17 cocktail. The manager asked us to leave before we had even finished our drinks, because we didn’t order food (there were many open tables left still, so we weren’t preventing table turnover). It was an awkward experience, but might be ok if you were planning to get a meal – but also we wouldn’t have ordered anything if we knew there was a short time limit for being seated there, especially since it was pretty slow while we were there.
