In 2015, Tommy and Gabriella opened GO GREEK in Garden City as the answer to a food industry full of gyros, but no yeeros. Go Greek serves ONLY fresh-made food options to the delight of Long Island lovers of Hellenic cuisine. As the parents of a child with severe food allergies, the Matheos family made sure Go Greek would be able to bring a taste of fresh, real Greek food that everyone could enjoy.

I can’t believe this place has 3.9 stars. Go Greek is one of my go to spots when we want to go out to eat. The owner is a very nice lady. I was in there this past weekend with my friend and his 2 year old son. The owner gave him a free rice pudding after we ate and talked to us for a few minutes before we left.

You don’t think the owner did, but oh, he did. I’m not trying to harm his business and I doubt my review will so instead of your comment, you can make sure this doesn’t happen to your future customers. Once again, if you wouldn’t eat it yourself what makes you think others works want to.
I don’t normally order out, so when I do and it sucks, I have to let the people know. I got a chicken souvlaki gyro sandwich. When the chicken is burnt and one half of the pita is hard as a rock, somebody’s messing up. Would you want a pita this way? Gross. Took 3 bites and couldn’t take anymore – tossed in the trash. Now my dinner break is over and I’m disappointed

Today I happened to come across Go Greek while running into Meat farms. I love a good gyro so I thought I would give it a try.
I was met at the door by who I think was the owner, who kindly held the door for me. I went to the counter where Kylie took my order and explained how to order what I wanted. She was very helpful. I ordered the lamb gyro combo with fries and drink, which came to Under $14.
I sat in one of there booths (4 in total) and within a couple of minutes, they brought me my food. I was extremely impressed with what I received. The gyro was delicious and overstuffed with meat, not all the fillings… you know, lettuce tomatoe etc. This was probably the first time I was able to eat a gyro without having all that stuff going all over the place. It was just perfect with the lettuce and the very generous portion of meat. The side of fries were also huge too!
The restaurant is nothing fancy, but a nice place to eat if you choose to stay in. They had about 5 tables. In addition to the booths. Masks were worn as well as gloves. The restaurant was clean.

Not very good. Went in and ordered lemon chicken soup and a lamb kebab. Was told they’re out of lamb. Kinda odd, it’s like if a pizza place told me they’re out of sausage. But whatever, I got chicken instead. Chicken was really dry and not very flavorful. Soup was bad, gelatinous in an unpleasant way and no real flavor. Woman who took my order was sweet at least.

I would not recommend GO Greek in Bohemia. We ordered catering for 10 people and were shocked to see they only send ONE skewer per person. How is that supposed to be enough food for an average adult? It’s extremely misleading and left us still hungry after spending good money. The portion sizes are unacceptable and don’t match what you’d expect from a Greek restaurant. Definitely not worth it if you’re looking for a proper meal.

Awesome Greek food the way it should be done!… The chicken gyro was great and the pork gyro was even better. All the ingredients were fresh, just the right amount of tzatziki sauce, the Greek fries were stuffed inside… Perfect Gyro! Looking forward to going back. Sorry for the quality of the picture… I was too busy stuffing my face.

Worst Chicken Gyro I have ever eaten. Chicken didn’t even look like gyro chicken. It was more of a grilled chicken sliced thinly. Fries extremely undercooked that were on the sandwich. The chicken souvlaki was was cooked well and was full of flavor. Salad was meh.
