I’m mad at myself for taking this recommendation. We ordered 2 full racks of ribs with mashed potatoes and Mac and cheese. The ribs were so tough I had to put them in the oven with a steam bath to even try it. It barely had any sauce it. I’m not sure how Kraft Mac and cheese is anywhere other than the kids menu. It was noodles in orange soup. We ordered the strawberry and peach lemonade. We got the peach and a regular lemonade. I will only say it tastes like lemon. I got the butter cake which was a rum cake with pecans. I’m not gonna lie, I’m angry that we lost over $100 to just get mcdonalds.

On March 1, 2025 my family and I were headed out to eat to celebrate a birthday. Originally we picked EC Dinner across from Glory Days. After an hour wait that was supposed to be only thirty minutes I called Glory Days and asked if they could accommodate me and my party that consisted of 14 people of that 6 were kids ranging in ages from newborn to 12. Glory Days advised they didn’t have a table to sit us all together but had some booths that we could sit in the same vicinity.

We took them up on that offer and I’m glad we did. As soon as we walked in we met one of the managers who I had spoke with on the phone and he was very welcoming, and we were immediately seated. He assisted in getting a swing for the baby’s car seat and a booster for one of the toddlers. We met our waitress Joliyah who was probably one the best waitresses I have ever had. She was patient, fast, and attentive checking on the our group multiple times through out the night. Not one time did she get frustrated with our group or the children. The manager even changed the channel to a kid friendly show on the TV that was closest to our group.

My oldest came to me during dinner and said “we can eat here all the time”. Anyone with small kids knows how picky they can become when it comes to food. She love the food, even my wife complimented the food.

Glory Days in Ellicott City thank you for being so accommodating, and welcoming, we will definitely be back.

We had a great lunch at the restaurant on Saturday afternoon. We were delighted with both the food and the service. We had the grilled shrimp platter ($16.50) and the meatloaf with mashed potatoes & broccoli ($14.50). The food was delicious, and the portion sizes were large. We also had iced tea and coffee ($3.30 each). The service was excellent starting with the host when we arrived and from our waiter who was friendly and attentive.

November 2024 Update: We just had our first negative experience at the restaurant. I ordered decaf coffee which costs $3.50. During our lunch, the waiter asked if I wanted a second cup, and I said yes. On our bill, we were charged $7.00 for my original cup of coffee and the refill. With a 20% tip, my decaf coffee came to $8.40. My wife was not charged extra for her ice tea refill. I’ll skip the decaf coffee in the future.

We got burgers and sweet potatoes fries. They were good some of the toppings were missing but they brought them out shortly after we made them aware. If they don’t know how to make a cocktail they will make you a random drink instead of asking or saying they don’t have what is needed. We asked for a maitai but was given a bright yellow drink instead. It was not bad but not what I ordered. Over all it was a good experience for a somewhat busy time of day for them. I will visit again.

The food here is really tasty for a chain. It’s a favorite place for burgers or wings. The only complaint is that the restaurant is loud. They tend to play music loudly, but it is largely expected for the sports bar vibe that it has. Parking lot can be a little hard to find a spot, but that never stops me from coming. We often enjoy a monthly wing night here. It’s largely a fun atmosphere, but not great if you want a quiet dinner.

My review is to highlight the employees at this location, especially our experience with the manager, Mark. There was a misunderstanding with my online order, which was entirely my fault, as I did not check my email to see that the order had not gone through. Mark not only graciously had the kitchen rush our order, but he was also exceptionally thoughtful and kind in his communication, turning the situation into a very pleasant interaction. This location is by far my favorite in Maryland because of the consistently excellent customer service every time we visit.

I hate posting negative reviews but this establishment does not seem to know what the problem is. My wife and I have loved Glory Days over the years but this location has become sad. The first thing is I blame the management. The service has gotten bad… No silverware, drinks, small plates ever at the right time… and this is on slow as well as packed nights. I’ve watched the managers walk around and take no notice of any of the customers tables at all… and many of us were looking around obviously needing something. The wings aren’t tossed enough or correctly in sauce, waitstaff are sweet kids but none of them have multitasking skills or implement stress management. The level of care has drastically reduced and it’s a shame. Great venue, TVs, location. Someone needs to inject this place with a little inspiration. The service staff needs to be managed… not out of fear but standards and HELPING them get to the point where they hit the standards and see how their tips reflect that skill set. I’m angry that my wife and I choose not to go because of all of this. Tread at your own risk.

I started coming here to just hang out after work and just started coming here all the time. Mainly because of the bartender Markiss and those fire grilled wings. He always makes sure my order is right, hot and ready on time. He has great customer service and cracks me up with his funny stories. It’s always a good time here.

The waiter was polite and gave great service. We had to wait for the hostess with it not being busy at all, who then came up with food in her mouth asking questions. When we got seated it was next to the kitchen which was fine until we started hearing Busta rhymes from the kitchen, then wobble wobble neither of which my 4yr old or 14 or old needs to hear. I asked for them to please turn it down and she proceeded to sing the song outloud. I was really disappointed at the lack of professionalism and attitudes of certain people.

I wanted to take my uncle and his wife out for a nice place to eat with a menu full of options. Think there was a lack of communication about ordering drinks and I take some blame for that. Beer was crisp off the tap and it’s the first sign of keg lines being cleaned on a regular basis. Two of us ordered the Fish Fry and one Meatloaf. Food was excellent. I appreciate the Veterans Discount for my uncle. Was Next time Im in town will on the top of list to visit again. I do have one question. If anyone has a backstory on why there is a full life like statue of Bart Starr in the Restaurant id appreciate a comment back. I am from Wisconsin so I was intrigued by that.
