Everything we ordered tasted fresh and came out in huge portions, making it a fantastic spot for both adults and families. Service was friendly, the atmosphere was welcoming, and the food exceeded expectations.
We’ll definitely be coming back!
It’s not my fault you waited several minutes to put in a second drink that put us past the 6 pm cut off given the POS system was right across our table. You could tell Elmer wanted me to simply say sure I’ll pay regular price, which I would have if I ordered after 6 pm.
It took 15 minutes to get my drink and it was clearly sitting for 10+minutes. (The drink had excessive foam at the top of the drink that my first drink did not have along with the bartender not making any drinks for many minutes because it was so slow and I was watching)
It’s a shame because I’ve celebrated birthdays and brought friends throughout the years to Gloria’s as a great authentic restaurant. Times have changed and I should have to get the manager involved to get a resolution.
Once this resolved, the manager checked up on our table more than our server. I will think long and hard about visiting this location again especially given the variety of restaurants in the walking proximity.
Nice place but food is too expensive for what you get. Wanted to puke after. My daughter said she liked her salmon, and service was nice and very attentive. Tortilla soup was more than a caldo de pollo with overcooked vegetables. They did give me 5 very small pieces of avocado, chicken was still with bones. Won’t be back.
