Conclusion: Even if you have never had Indian food before do not be intimidated. There is something wonderful waiting for you here!
To say this is the best Indian restaurant I’ve been to is not an exaggeration!
Starting with food: Excellent! All around, every dish was excellent! I literally got food goosebumps!
The service: Excellent! Our waiter was patient and kind and kept our drinks filled and did everything with a smile!
The restaurant: It was clean and felt spacious enough to accommodate our party of 11!
Conclusion: Even if you have never had Indian food before do not be intimidated. There is something wonderful waiting for you here!

We love Globe Indian. It also has a soft corner in our hearts. When we first arrived in Lawrence, this was the only place we could go to that had Halal food as we didn’t have a car. Now it is our go-to indian food place. We love to eat at the Buffet, it’s affordable, delicious and definitely great value for money spent.
The Butter chicken/ chicken tikka masala has my husbands heart and at this point probably in his arteries

One of the few places in Lawrence offering authentic Indian cuisine, this restaurant is a must-visit for food lovers. I ordered the chicken biryani, and it was delicious, with just the right level of spice to please your palate. The portion size was generous, and the flavors were perfectly balanced. The restaurant’s atmosphere was pleasant and welcoming, making it a great spot for dining with friends or family. Wow! This was by far one of the best Indian Cuisine Ever!! From the taste of the the food to the hospitality. We definitely felt welcomed to be there. The manager came over and introduced himself personally and made sure we enjoyed every bit of our dishes. If you are looking for good Indian cuisine this is the place to be. This is a spot you have to try. Very stylish with a super friendly atmosphere, from the minute you walk in the staffs makes you feel right at home, very helpful and Knowledgable of their entire menu and have to say this is some of the best service and dining experience we have ever received. The food is outstanding full of flavor and fresh cooked to order with large portions. I can’t give this place enough credit, if you haven’t tried this restaurant yet you are missing out!!

Um yes yes yes. My friend and I LOVED everything about this restaurant. From the experience to the atmosphere. Our first time here was a blast. The service was phenomenal, the facility was clean, the decor was beautiful and unique, their music was enjoyable to listen to. But the best part, of course the food. It was well worth the wait. The chicken was tender and cooked to perfection. The shrimp was beautifully golden and their appetizers are so delicious. They even gave us sample drinks to try since we were unfamiliar with their items. The workers are very kind and genuine. They also have student discounts upon showing them your student ID. I will certainly be coming back.

Indian food is my favorite and I am so glad to have yet another place in town that supports my addiction I love the variety at the Globe. They have menu items that the other Indian places around don’t offer. I’ve tried many of their offerings and everything has been delicious. We recently got to-go and it was packaged very well, plus the containers are easy to reuse!

Man rarely do I get so in to my food that I forget to take a picture to share before I dig in. This is one of those rare moments. Finding a traditional Indian food restaurant can be hard, but here you get it all. Everything I had was fresh and delicious! If you like curries and Indian spices, Naan, and refreshing Mango Lassie give this place a try, you will not be disappointed! It was a bit warm inside when I came, but it wasn’t unbearable. It made my Taj Mahal beer all the more enjoyable

We had the chicken tikka masala, aloo ghobi, butter chicken, fried chicken rice, and garlic and cheese naan. Portions were generous and they gave my son a free dessert for his birthday. Great place to eat with very kind staff. Definitely a new favorite.

So, most Indian restaurants in the US serve curry, naan and rice. Finding south Indian food like dosas is pretty rare, and this place serves dosas! We had the veggie platter for appetizers, mysore masala dosa and paneer tikka dosa. The food was excellent, ambience was pleasing, and service was good too. We definitely recommend this place. Do try the dosas, they come with sambar and three kinds of chutney!

The last time we were there, we thoroughly enjoyed the food. The wait time wasn’t much, but the lady who works took ages to get to our table. She seemed to be taking orders over the phone, for what seemed like forever. Yesterday, we called them to place an order. A lady (may be it was the same person), picked up the call, and asked me to wait a moment to take my order. I held for almost 8-10 minutes, without any response. I eventually hung up, and ordered elsewhere. This kind of service is not acceptable – either pick up the phone and take the order, or don’t answer the phone. Good food is one thing, but service is equally important too!
