Came in with hopes that this place was running full steam. Dining room was closed so you had to sit in the bar area. Tables were filthy and sticky. I marked it up that they may have just got done with a rush and ordered anyways. Buffet is advertised everywhere here so that’s what I was going for. Was told there is no buffet so ordered lasagna from the menu. Apparently today’s cook and Chef Mike (microwave) weren’t feeling it today. The outside edge of my lasagna was good and hot. 1st bite in from the edge was beyond cold a solid. Told the waitress that it was frozen in the middle and she proceeded to argue until she felt it herself.

We stopped in here because of the great reviews and they were the truth! The map says it’s a truckstop but it is actually a separate restaurant. Only a couple people dining and they were sitting at the bar, so we decided to sit there also. Without hesitation the sweet bartender turned the music down since the speaker was right near us and asked if it was at a good volume. She was very friendly and helpful with suggestions on the menu. The chicken carbonara had lots of flavor the only thing that threw me off was that it was made the spaghetti noodles and the garlic bread was fantastic! My husband’s Cubano sandwich was very good but it had some fat on part of it. That’s the only reason for the four stars and not five.

The ribs just finished as we came in. Fabulous. My wife enjoyed the shrimp and steak. If you drive truck this is definitely one of the best options we have with parking.
