Glenn’s Smokehouse was founded in 2014 by Charles and Gena Glenn. Over the years they have provided a unique dining experience for our friends and family in all of White County, the numerous tourists, and those who are just simply passing through our beautiful town. From the moment you step through the front door, you are entered into a world of blues and rock and roll music, eclectic decorations, and a friendly hometown atmosphere. In July of 2023, the restaurant decided to expand their amazing services and took to the streets with Glenn’s Smokehouse Food Truck. While the food truck offers many of the famous items served at the restaurant, they have also taken on creating unique items found only on the food truck.

I had a 2 meat plate baked beans 7 slices of smoked sausage 2 thin slices of brisket that they cut in half and called it 4 slices had no smoke ring or smoke flavor it was tender and tasty. The baked beans and potatoe salad was great. $16.99 not a good price for the amount of food I got

The waitress was extremely nice and personable. I had the Large Pig Pie without slaw. The portions were well worth the price and the sauce was like that borderline sweet, super good! I got a side of fries okra too and it was breaded perfectly and piping hot when it came out. I loved looking at all the decor on the walls and the atmospher was very inviting. Will absolutely come again when back in the neighborhood!

Just Me
We traveled through Alabama, Mississippi, Georgia, and Florida searching for good BBQ… and somehow the best ribs of our lives were 40 minutes from home in Searcy, AR. Glens Smokehouse, you’ve officially ruined all other BBQ forever. The food is incredible, the staff is friendly and helpful, the decor is… interesting, and the experience is unforgettable. 10/10, would drive from anywhere.

It was freezing in the restaurant. It took longer than usual to get a 2 piece fish plate for my husband and a shrimp plate for myself. My shrimp were not butterflied and they were deep fried hard, in fried chicken coating not fish coating they were like rocks and nearly impossible for me to eat. Then when I paid with card at register, it showed $40 I tapped the card on screen to pay and she says ‘do you want receipt?’ I said yes and she printed it out. I was going to sign it and put a tip on the receipt but the printout showed where she had absolutely put an unauthorized $10 to on the payment making it $50

Wife and I had been on a week long business trip. We were almost back home and decided to stop in Glenn’s and give it try. We are very happy that we did. This is now our favorite local BBQ. The food was fantastic, service was excellent, and the atmosphere was perfect. When ordering don’t skimp on the sides. The smoked green beans will be staple for me. Great little smokehouse in Searcy! Blues music playing to greet you, great atmosphere, decor and vibe. Beef brisket sandwich, mustard potato salad and smoked green beans were great! Country fried steak was tender and wonderful and the loaded baked potato did not disappoint! Pricing was very reasonable and staff super friendly! Will be back!

Our group ordered rib daily special; 2 meat special and shrimp plate. Rib meat was moist and delicious. Meat on the two meat special was a bit dry, but a good flavor. Shrimp plate was delicious. Lots on the menu to please anyone. The atmosphere is unique and fun with Elvis memorabilia and original art. Service was quick and friendly. Will be back.
