Glendale Grill

First of all our server was absolutely AMAZING. Extremely attentive and we never needed anything because she was on top of it. The atmosphere is cute, we sat on the restaurant side so I can’t speak of the bar side. It was busy which is great to see. I wasn’t very impressed with the food. My bolognese was….. different. The taste was off. Other people in my party said the fish and chips was good, as was a burger. The portions are pretty good. If you’re a big eater, they are average. My dish didn’t come with bread or anything, and we weren’t offered anything like bread or rolls in the beginning. I definitely think the restaurant has a good following based on how busy they were, but personally, based on the meal alone I probably wouldn’t go back. I find the high reviews on here very misleading.

The food is fantastic and very reasonably priced. With it being an open room, it can get a bit loud in there. I would advise them to put noise reducing fabrics and/or paintings on the walls and ceiling to help reduce the noise, but I love it there non-the-less.

Red (Redman)

My first visit after reading some of the review so I had to try. I must say I thoroughly enjoyed my meal as my Fiancé enjoyed her meal. The menu has many choices to choose from so be prepared to have something good. I went with the chicken sausage, but instead of Penny, I put it over Angel hair pasta, which I’m glad I did, my friend had a nice healthy salad.

A local’s suggestion of good quality food. Tried this out for dinner one night. Half dining area, half bar area layout. Live music of a solo guitarist. Booth style seating with an old fashioned feeling of local framed pictures. Server was very friendly. There was a special’s menu that featured some good looking dishes. I ordered the Pecan Goat Cheese Salad and a Chicken dish from the specials menu,both were very good with fresh ingredients. Suggestions, a cocktail menu would be a nice added touch. Parking lot on site is small but accommodating.

Is there a new chef? Our dinner was amazing last night. The Chicken Amaretto was incredible! The accompanying asparagus was perfectly seasoned and tender. My mom had the Grilled Swordfish and she actually finished her meal, which is unusual!

Don’t bother making a reservation, there’s a chance they may just decide not to honor it! My entire party of 8 had to find another place on the fly for a family birthday dinner tonight. Our reservation was accepted for 7 pm but we were told we had no table upon arrival and after we all sat for 25 minutes waiting we were told we would not all be sated together. We won’t be back.

I had the crab stuffed cod with lobster sauce and it was absolutely delicious. I would order this one again and again. The other dish is my husband’s chicken francaise with angel hair pasta, and he really liked it. He gets something different each time we go to Glendale Grill.

Friend and i were in the area and were looking for a bite to eat, decided on this place after reading reviews and WOW. If you’re in the area, this place is a must try. The cheeseburger melt is killer, and the pulled pork grilled cheese looked amazing. If im in the area again, i will make it a ritual to stop here. Great food, friendly staff, what more can you ask for?
