Stopped here on a solo trip from northern Kentucky to Louisville, looking for unique places to break up the drive. Pizza is 100% amazing, atmosphere is awesome. Enjoyed a beer while pizza was prepared, and took in lots of local crafts and history. Left with several jars of jam, a great pizza for the drive, a local newspaper, and a wonderful memory. Just one day later I’ve already told 10-12 friends about how memorable it was. As a drive-by tourist, I can’t recommend this place enough!

Came across this gem on our way to the Ark Encounter. The dough and sauce is homemade and cooked inside a brick oven. Incredible flavor, friendly staff, and honestly had a Hallmark type feel. Would highly recommend and if I’m ever around this area again, I most definitely will stop by!

We’ve been meaning to stop for awhile. The previous reviews are all spot on. This is excellent pizza. Both the crust and sauce are very special. We want to return to try some of the more exotic offerings (dill pickle pizza?) but this time we stuck with the supreme and we are very pleased. Beautiful building and decor.

Where do I begin! This place is a hidden gem! The pizza was the best pizza I have ever had! It’s a trip back in time. If you haven’t made a trip it’s well worth it I drove 45 min to try this place out! Well worth the time! They make all pizza in house from scratch on a wood fire!

What a great little jewel. We were staying nearby for the weekend and found this place on google. We ordered a pizza half pickle pizza & half margarita pizza. It was delicious and apparently I’m a huge pickle pizza fan. They have fantastic dill pickle chips. We enjoyed the mozzarella cheese sticks with marinara too. It is set up much like an old general store, full of local goodies. You order your food at the counter and there are little rooms to the side that have dining tables. They had lots of grab and go items and we noticed multiple locals stopping in to order food and grab chicken salad from the case. Stop in if you get the chance & try the pickle pizza.

We occasionally drive through this area on our way to Madison, IN. The last time we went by, it was merely an old store I took pictures of. When we seen the store this trip, it was beautiful and advertised food. We had to stop and try it out. The building itself is absolutely beautiful, inside and out. The menu is extensive, we decided on the meatball hoagie and a fountain drink. It was delicious, fresh and the bread was wonderful. The staff was friendly. The store was full of local items. We will have to return prepared and on purpose soon.

This place is a hidden gem! If you’re headed to or from the Ark Encounter, or anywhere remotely close, it would be in your favor to take the small scenic drive here. Very neat and tidy. The pizza is absolutely amazing! She makes her own dough and sauce for the pizzas. The amount of care and time they put into this place really shows. I look forward to my next trip to Louisville, I will be stopping here to eat again. Thanks again for the great experience!

An amazing hidden gem we happened upon while traveling. Had the fried chicken sandwich and buffalo pizza both were amazing. Best place I’ve eaten in awhile. Their wood fired pizza really is to die for. Loved that they had lots of handmade goods made locally for sale

Stopped by today for the first time to check out this General Store.
The staff was super friendly. The pepperoni pizza was very tasty. Great crust, emphasis on homemade. Will return!
