Glaze is one of my favorite fast casual restaurants in Chicago. I was so sad when they closed their Lakeview East location, but am thrilled to have found their River West location is quite close to work. Definitely will be ordering from here more often. Their teriyaki sauce is delicious and their salad dressing is really nice

Got delivery from Glaze and I didn’t realize it had arrived so I didn’t eat it fresh. With that being said, it was still warm. The grass fed steak was tender while the chicken thighs were juicy. The ying yang rice was just like rice but it was nice to get both types. Wasn’t a big fan of the carrot ginger dressing that was with the salad. Finally, the spicy teriyaki wasn’t really spicy and I wish there was more since the bowl was dry.

I discovered Glaze when our office used to bring in lunch and it is absolutely delicious and a crowd favorite around the office. I love their tofu teriyaki and salmon combo bowl with brown rice and a salad. As a pescatarian it’s nice to have options. I have never eaten there but it is my go to for lunch delivery whenever I am in the office as they do great portions at a very reasonable price and I’m never hungry in the afternoon. They are always fast and delivery goes smoothly. Love Glaze!
Edit – I see a lot of one star reviews due to delivery issues. I order weekly on our corporate DoorDash account and have yet to have an issue, so I’ve never had to contact the company. That’s surprising.

I order from here religiously and for some reason, I’ve never got my order delivered from Uber. Uber tried to call with no luck.

I’ve enjoyed Glaze for years — an ex of mine was gluten free and we could always count on Glaze for a satisfying experience! Recently I ordered from their River West location (which I didn’t know existed) and the food was just as I remembered it — delicious and satisfying!

Status: still “on the way.”
Route breakdown: Glaze River West → my office (LaSalle & The River).
Per Google Maps 8-minute drive (Thursday, 11:47 pm).
Communication attempts:
• Called Glaze via website → straight to voicemail.
• Called “Daniel” (per order page) → voicemail again.
• Uber Eats redirect back to merchant → same result.
Result: closed loop, no teriyaki.
Now home, but almost delusional enough to walk back to the office if it ever shows.
Locate Daniel & my teriyaki bowl.
