The setting is very nice. Elegant. You can sit by the bar, the dining room or outdoor patio. Patio best because it is right by the falls and you see AND hear them. We went for dinner and although lit up, you miss the higher points of the fall. Still intriguing at nite though. Nice to hear the water while you eat. Food is shared plates style. Good menu selection. Nice cocktails. Food was well prepared and tasty. I lowered a star because they are pricy for their portion size and a surcharge on cc payment. Behind the Hawley Silk Mill. Tricky to get to it but worth it. We went back next morning and I thought the night version of the falls was better. Be nice if they would let a bit more water flow through but the flow has now been diverted since it is no longer a source of power. They give you a postcaard that has a photo of how large and powerful the falls were when they powered the silk mill and other structures nearby including the glass factory.

We went here for a birthday celebration. The atmosphere was incredible. The wait staff were friendly and attentive. The food options were split between ‘small’ plates and ‘large’ plates which made ordering challenging. The food was good and the prices were reasonable. We would go back.

We have been wanting to try this restaurant for some time. It didn’t disappoint! The atmosphere was both beautiful and very relaxing. The food and drinks were amazing and food portions were more than generous. I cannot wait to go back! Highly recommend.

My husband and myself have come three times and also stayed in the hotel. We loved the restaurant and the stay. Wish we picked days where they had live entertainment. We stayed each time where they did have entertainment but we had paid elsewhere for the entertainment portion of our trip . The food and service was always great and the room was beautiful. Nothing like dinner and a waterfall. The meal was not expensive. This photo was a year ago on our last trip but it was such a great occasion.

Glass Wine Bar and Kitchen features a creative menu centered around shareable plates, perfect for enjoying with your group. During our visit, we sampled several appetizers—the standouts for me were the focaccia and the stuffed scallops. For my entrée, the lollipop lamb chops were cooked to perfection—tender and flavorful. The atmosphere at Glass is truly beautiful, with a lovely outdoor area overlooking a waterfall that makes for both serene views and great photo opportunities. While the service team appeared a bit stretched at times, they still managed to provide attentive and friendly service throughout a busy evening.

We enjoy the most delicious meal of our lives at Glass celebrating our 29th wedding anniversary. The scrumptious apps (Singapore Fried Rice and Chicken & Kimchi Potstickers), delectable drinks (Lychee Yuzu Martini and Pomegranate & Pear), and luscious entrees (Berkshire Pork Chop and Grilled Chicken Paillard) are the only things that could take our attention away from the incredible setting. We sat on the upper patio at a high top against the exterior stone wall of the hotel, which provided a panoramic view of the ledges. Cannot say one bad thing about our experience.

We booked a table for five to celebrate Mother’s Day, and overall, it was a very mixed experience.
We chose this restaurant for its location, and in that regard, it did not disappoint. Perched right above a waterfall, the setting was absolutely magical — the sound of rushing water, the stunning view, and even a rainbow made it unforgettable. This alone created a beautiful atmosphere. The food itself was also excellent — well-balanced, flavorful, and clearly crafted with care. Big compliments to the chef.

However, the downsides were significant.
First, the pricing felt unjustifiably high for what we received. For a five-person reservation, the amount of food served was underwhelming. We might have overlooked this if the service matched the price point — but unfortunately, it didn’t.
No one explained the “special Mother’s Day” concept during the phone booking. We assumed the $50 per person fixed menu with five courses meant five individual portions. Instead, we were brought just two shared plates for all five of us. We were told they usually serve one plate per two guests, and for the fifth person, they’d just “add a little more” — but both plates looked identical. This was disappointing and awkward, especially since we had to pass dishes around and essentially serve ourselves.
To make things worse, we were not given clean plates or utensils between courses unless we specifically asked. For the steak, we received butter knives until we requested proper steak knives. There was no salt, pepper, or napkins on the table — everything had to be requested separately.
Finally, a $60 service charge was automatically added to the bill without prior notice at booking. And the restroom facilities were not up to standard.

To sum it up: a gorgeous location and great food, but the service and overall experience did not justify the high price.

I’d love to give this place a 5 star. The setting and atmosphere is fantastic with the falls in the background. Very intimate comfortable setting. The staff was great, even gave my wife and I a glass of champagne on the house because they knew it was an anniversary which is very thoughtful. My wife loved her Salmon and I really enjoyed my New York Strip but my only gripe would be there wasn’t any sides. It was a good sized steak and cooked perfectly but in the back of my mind I just kept thinking, for a $50 steak (which I have no issue dropping on a good piece of meat) there should be like a potato, sautéed veggies on the side or something. Not only will you feel a bit more full after the meal but at the very least enhance the presentation up a notch. But this my first time and first dish I’ve had there, My wife’s Salmon did come with some asparagus but maybe I’m missing something or didn’t read the menu correctly.

There was a live musician playing which was nice and every other section of the restaurant looked incredible. I will definitely return to this hidden gem I just wish I could have given it that perfect score. Be prepared to pay on the higher end but for a special occasion or night out to treat yourself the markup is worth it because it’s not just about the food. A place that’s definitely worth a shot and I can’t wait to go back and try some other items on the menu.

EDIT: After the restaurant reached out to me that they serve a Tapas style menu for sharing the dishes and menu make so much more sense so I added an extra star making this a great option to go with friends and be able to try multiple dishes for the table.

Absolutely gorgeous setting made even better by quick and friendly service. Went here for an anniversary dinner and couldn’t be happier with the decision. Dan was our server and the other wait staff and bar hostess were all equally friendly. You were allowed to enjoy the scenery as you pleased and the stone steps on the small path were very cute.

We started with the grilled naan and the mac and cheese bites. The (I believe) fig jam with the naan was super flavorful and the mac and cheese bites were to die for.

Our main share plate was a NY strip done medium rare and it was made just right and the garlic butter and onions with it were really flavorful.

We got the rainbow cookie and deep fried horchata bites for dessert. I’ve never had a rainbow cookie before but if I can have one this good again if get more. The horchata bites were so strong and have got to be one of my favorite desserts I’ve ordered anywhere.

The peach mocktail was one of the best I’ve ever ordered.

Thanks so much for the experience!

Absolutely beautiful restaurant with stunning view of the falls! Love the mix of rich history and modern design. Staff & service were excellent. Food was delicious! Highly recommend the lamb chops with tapanade and tzatziki sauce, chicken kimch, cheese charcuterie and the pina colada cake. Only con was drive in was a little confusing very narrow & winding road. Signage is good though and posted speed limit is 5mph.
