In Boston for training and ordered takeout because I had some work to do back at the hotel. Service was great, especially from the bartender who processed my payment. Wagyu burger was good but too much for me to eat in one sitting. The bacon jam was a nice touch and a little sweet but not overpowering. Fries were crispy with a nice amount of salt and cheese. It was a very generous serving of fries. I would go back again to try out something smaller on the menu. Inside was nice, modern, casual vibe. About a 10 minute walk from the hotel I stayed at. Food was still quite warm when I ate it in my hotel room even though the weather outside was -8.

I recently had the pleasure of photographing a wedding at Glasshouse in Cambridge, and from a photographer’s perspective, this venue is truly a gem. My one criticism of restaurant weddings is flow – with spaces that aren’t designed to be wedding venues, moving from cocktail hour, to dinner, to dancing can be a logistical challenge. Glasshouse avoided this entirely with its spacious layout and intentional design. The minimalist design, exposed ceiling, and floor-to-ceiling windows provided a visually striking backdrop. As a photographer, it’s always exciting to work in a space this beautiful.
One of the standout features was the large, beautiful entryway that hosted cocktail hour and dancing. The high ceilings and open layout made this area feel spacious and inviting, while also providing plenty of room for guests to mingle and celebrate. Coupled with the dedicated dining space which was kept hidden from guests until dinner, the flow was impeccable. The transition between the outdoor space, to cocktail, to dinner was seamless, and although the venue felt intimate, it never became crowded.
Overall, Glasshouse offers a wonderful balance of style, intimacy, and flexibility. Whether indoors or out, the space provides countless opportunities for capturing special moments in a setting that feels both modern and timeless. I highly recommend it for couples looking for a venue that blends industrial charm with a touch of elegance.

I cannot thank Kristen, Shauna, and the entire Glass House staff enough for giving us the wedding of our dreams. Every step – from the initial tour, contracts, personalizing the menu and drinks, even clean up at the end of the night – was flawless because of their professionalism, kindness, and flexibility. I would choose Glass House over and over again if I could. Our guest count was 88 people, and while a reception-style dinner is unconventional it was perfect and fit the vision we wanted. Many of our friends asked “how did you find this place??” because they were having so much fun with the games, having delicious food and drinks, exploring the varied interior, and overall having a great time. I’m so happy we chose this restaurant for one of the best days of our lives.

I’ve come here several times because there is always something fantastic to pick from on the menu. I’ve gone midday, dinner time, after work drinks, and even during Dine Out week so there’s truly something for everyone. There’s great apps for sharing (unfortunately they stopped serving their poutine) and all of the cocktails hit.
The price point is on the higher end, but the wait staff is always incredibly friendly and the ambiance is clean yet cozy.

It’s a chill and laid back restaurant. The prezel appertizer was my absolute favorite. It was warm and cokked perfectly! The fresh fries were really tasty too. The chicken sandwhich was a bit on dry side. Maybe if i asked for differemt sauce that it help it.
Overall the waitress was really flawless too.

Falafel pita sandwich was excellent. If you’re going to advertise “award-winning clam chowder,“ you should at least serve it hot. Mine came tepid, but the server did reheat it without any fuss. Brewed coffee wasn’t that strong. Very appealing decor; however, they went with uncomfortable seating for no apparent reason.

Housed in what once catered solely to private events, Glass House offers a serene, upscale tavern-like ambiance in Kendall Square.
I first came here for a group lunch and came back to try their weekday lunch. Since the place doesn’t attract a lot of diners during lunch times, I was able to enjoy a relaxed and quiet dining experience. The outdoor patios further augmented the appeal, offering a more casual vibe.
From their appetizers, the Crispy Spicy Tuna Roll was a warm introduction to the meal – crispy, flavorful, with the tang of pickled ginger and the kick of wasabi, albeit a bit on the pricier side. The Glass House Burger followed suit, simple in its essence but executed well, with juicy patties adorned with bacon jam and cheddar.
However, the Poke Bowl felt disjointed – sushi rice overly saturated with miso soy dressing, mangoes lacking ripeness, and salmon diced a tad too finely. Since it was a bit pricey for a poke bowl, I had high hopes, but it was quite disappointing.
Despite the uneven food experience, where Glass House truly shines is its ambiance. Its expansive feel and tranquil atmosphere make it an ideal spot for group gatherings or anyone seeking a serene space for dining or drinks. Just be prepared for a menu that might not always match up to the setting’s elegance.

Absolute five stars! The staff, Kristen and Shawna especially were top notch and the salmon was the most delicious I’ve ever had! Easy to find parking and beautiful patio.

The Glass House was a nice local spot in the Cambridge area. My thoughts…. the overall service was ok. There wasn’t anything special about it they did their job. The clam chowder, which was award winning, was good. The meatballs I felt were overcooked. The fish tacos could’ve used some flavor instead of so much filler. The arancini, I had better but definitely better than Eataly. The highlight of my dinner was the shrimp cocktail, steak frites, mixed berry tart, and the lechmere martini! The steak was cooked well and flavorful, and the fries had the right amount of rosemary. I left satisfied, so that’s all that matters, and if I return, I know the exact meal to get

We held our wedding at Glass House in November! They did a fantastic job all-around – the food and custom drinks were excellent, the separate dinner and bar/dance spaces worked well, and the whole event was very well-organized (Kristen N was amazing to work with). Would highly recommend for anyone looking for a bright venue with experienced staff for their wedding.
