I found this hidden gem on the Too Good to Go app. First of all, I commend any food service that is doing what they can to end food waste.
That being said, even though this place is a bit out of my way, I will be back! I was given what equates to an early Thanksgiving dinner: ham, white beans, stuffing, mac and cheese, and a fresh griddlecake. Everything was seasoned and cooked well (the mac could have been a touch firmer, but that’s a hard ask at the end of the day!). The owner was friendly and interested in everyone that was there, and made me feel extremely welcomed. The portion sizes were generous, enough for me to make two light meals out of. Hands down, would definitely recommend stopping in if you’re in the area…or even if you’re not!

Stepping into this establishment I was greeted with delicious smells of home cooking. This place is amazing! Not only do they serve southern comfort food, but they also offer Asian comfort foods in a nod to the owners heritage. I tried both and was equally impressed! The owner, Judy, is delightful to talk to. Customer service is obviously a priority for her and her son. Overall, this place is worth the drive to gladeville and I would highly recommend it!

This is one of those old timey hole in the wall rare soul food restaurants and I can’t tell you how great the food is.
As soon as you walk in there’s a cow bell.
I got a big plate and ate every bit, even went back for the cherry delight. Omg this was real deal delicious and hit the spot.
Would recommend especially if you work in the area.
Y’all gotta stop by and try this out.

This little hidden gem with amazing food! We went in as they were trying over breakfast and lunch. Staff was so welcoming as it was our first time visit. I got County ham, homemade mashed potato and some white beans omg it was sooo good! You have to get a brownie not too sweet soft and yummy! Great find to grab lunch before going horse back riding at the state park.

While I haven’t lived in Tennessee for nearly a decade now, I still fondly remember the food and hospitality Gladeville Market & Grill offered. I would have their sausage and biscuits (with cheese) in the mornings before high school, and feast on the generous serving of orange chicken in the evenings. I still crave the texture and delicious glaze of that orange chicken all these years later.

We like to try new places when we are away from home. Our breakfast was excellent! We each had an omelette that was delicious. My bacon was super. The highlight of our meal was homemade hashbrowns, perfectly golden, not the least bit greasy.

The friendliest people run this place . The food is always good . The owner knows how to handle food properly but employees don’t seem to. My pet peeve is when Simone touches my food with bare hands and handles money. This happens every time i go. Use gloves please and teach everyone to use gloves. It’s is such a turn off to see Some one check some one out at the cash reg then turn Around and get food out of the cold storage food container and put on your plate. It has happen to me every time I go. The service is fast but so fast they forget they are serving food. You don’t need to touch with your hands it’s nasty. I love this place that why I give it 5 but teach some good principles please.

The food was absolutely horrible. Our burgers had frozen patties and were white tan color and totally disgusting. We paid $23 and could not eat a bite.
