we were recommended by the guide from our afternoon activity that this place has great food and great pie. since we are in the region and huckleberry is in season, we wanted to give it a try.
The menu is very basic, nothing looks attractive and not to mention is very OVERPRICED. when I order a fish and chips that means nothing looks i want to eat and I just go for safe order. and the fish and chips came out was a bit insulting. the fish fingers are literally finger size. so tiny and i was hungry after the meal had to get a second meal elsewhere.
They do have a very large selections of pie. according to local this is the best pie in town. $10 a slice for an ok flavor.
Service was a bit slow and everyone seems too busy serving many tables so it was a bit hard to get our waitress attention.

Had breakfast here before heading into Glacier national park, and it twas scrumdillicious! The pancakes are thick and fluffy, great seating available and views out the window are great as well! Excellent service also! Definitely try this place out

Delicious spot at the entrance of West Glacier. This place relieved our worries of finding a decent place to dine in. Cozy place, delicious food.
Brioche bun on the burger was crispy and buttery, beef patty was juicy, and veggies were fresh. Chose huckleberry pie out of so many options, it was a delicacy! Served warm with vanilla ice cream, good combination.
Servers were all kind and inviting. Would definitely recommend for a nice meal.

Good place for lunch. Our rafting guide recommended this place for their pies which were yummy. Husband had the French dip and fries. He liked it. Son and myself had chicken strips and fries. Pretty good. Huckleberry pie was the highlight. Recommend.

I’m stunned by the number of high reviews. Maybe we just ordered the wrong thing. Maybe people are just really hungry after playing in Glacier all day. Beats me. My husband and I both had the bison burger, which I’m convinced was a hamburger patty, and I’ve eaten enough bison burger to know. But even as a hamburger, it wasn’t good. We were disappointed. So if you go, skip the bison burger.
Update: their response to my review was as tasteless as the bison burger, so maybe consider if this is a place you want to support.

Hands down the best chicken pot pie I’ve ever had! Kids loved their pizza, too! Great place to eat if visiting Glacier National Park! Located just outside of West Glacier.

We did NOT have good luck during our week in the area with finding good food. This was one exception, of few. The food was exceptional here. Great atmosphere and great service. Gift store and camp store next to restaurant, browse while you wait for food.

Wonderful family owned restaurant with a alpine feel. Beautiful wooden floors and furniture provide a warm ambiance. We were taken care of by the owners son who provided wonderful service and spoke highly of his mother’s cooking. We started out with the spider tots and camping logs which were delicious. The tots were crispy on the outside and warm and fluffy potato on the inside with a nice doing sauce. The logs were creamy cheese and crab filled with a sweet and sour sauce. For our entrees we had the Rib eye steak which was tender and topped with a green peppercorn sauce, chicken saltimbocca was moist and crusted with prosciutto in a light sauce, the chicken pot pie was a modern version with large chunks of chicken in a creamy gravy with puffed pastry and the bowman salad with spinach and grilled vegetables. All of the dishes were good scratch cooking and the beers were cold and refreshing. We had the honey ale and the brown. You need to save room for the homemade pies…Huckleberry lemon….delicious. best food in the area.

I had a spectacular experience at glacier Highland restaurant. Warmly greeted with coffee in hand, I ordered food promptly and the food was delicious. I did make the mistake of sitting right in front of the pies. I haven’t had a piece of pie in years, but I couldn’t help myself today. I had to razzle berry, which is the combination of raspberry and huckleberry and it was delicious. Dana was my server and she didn’t miss a beat with my coffee cup. I ordered the bacon omelette and it was delicious. The servers appear to work as a team because everybody was helping everybody and they were busy which is always a good sign.

We stopped in after a day at the Glacier National Park. Their dinner menu offers a variety of options to make everyone happy. Although, it’s not on the menu, our waiter did inform us of what was available for kids since we had a three-year-old with us.
We order the Quesadilla and Onion Ring Appetizers. The homemade guacamole and salsa were spot on for our preferences and they were the perfect size for our family.
I had their Buffalo meatballs with huckleberry jalapeño glaze. Overall the dish was delicious and I would order it again. The meatballs were so flavorful and moist. The polenta cakes were a little dry and crumbly, but tasted good.
Everyone else ordered burgers or grilled cheese. They all seemed happy and satisfied with their sandwich choices. The fries were eh, they are hand cut and fresh made so we weren’t expecting crisp fries, but they were just large and bland. Everything else was so delectable they just paled in comparison.
The only con would be in regard to atmosphere/staff. We felt slightly uncomfortable. The staff wasn’t rude or anything, but they also weren’t personable or friendly. At first, we were concerned maybe we were too casual for the establishment or it wasn’t intended for families with young children, but as we saw the place fill up (after our arrival) we saw similar customers throughout.
