So delicious, my husband and I said we’ll take the chance and trek to Camden next time to eat in. Fabulous authentic Jamaican food! Huge oxtails at a very affordable price! Candied yams were fantastic! Sweet but not overly buttery. Jerk chicken- perfectly tender with that charred taste that’s difficult to get. And the rum cake…just get it. Everything cooked perfectly without being overly heavy while still keeping all the flavors there. What a meal!

I really wanted to like this place because there aren’t many good Jamaican cuisine options nearby. Today, I placed an order for several platters, including a medium jerk chicken platter for myself, which comes with three pieces of chicken.
When I received my order, they had put jerk sauce on the chicken even though I specifically asked them not to. I told them, and they made me another platter without the sauce.
However, when I got home and started eating, I noticed the chicken was bloody. It honestly felt intentional, as if it was given to me that way because I asked for the first platter to be corrected. Serving undercooked chicken is unacceptable and a serious health concern. I had to throw the food in the trash.

The young lady at the front desk was very nice, but the owner acts as if he doesn’t even want you to eat his food. I mean, the dude never says thank you or hello upon entrance. As a man, he never even looked at me while I was talking to him. The food was okay, but I ordered a large curry goat platter, and it was a little Mac and cheese section cut out of the pan already, and she asked the owner, “Is this cool? Or is it too small?” before placing it on my platter. The owner told her that it was fine and not to give me anymore. I paid $24 for a large, and the dude really gave me a tiny bit of Mac and cheese. The owner really needs to fix his attitude and be grateful for everyone that spends their hard-earned money on his food.

The food is delicious!! Customer service is good, definitely improved because it wasn’t this great at first (GREAT JOB)… I love their YAMS , I’m not the biggest fan of their oxtails though, for them to be pricey they’re a little stingy with them and also they last two times I had them they had so much fat and barely any meat! Love their seamoss drinks they carry as well! Best Jamaican food in the neighborhood. VERY CLEAN KITCHEN AND STAFF

The oxtails are sooo tender and you can tell it’s made from an original Jamaican the butter beans lets you know, also my favorite is the Rasta pasta I’ve had shrimp, chicken, and oxtail. And it’s sooo good and spicy. If I could give it 100 stars I would.

We ordered the brown stew chicken and fried snapper. They were both delicious. The chicken is fall off the bone tender with good flavor. The snapper was fried well, enough food for leftovers the next day. The young lady behind the counter was very pleasant and answered our questions regarding the food. I will be returning.
