3.5 stars with potential to be 4. The food was decent, hot, nice taste, and what you’d expect for the price. Didn’t blow us out of the water but good. The bread we got was “fresh out of the oven” but cold in the middle. Salad was good. Overall a fine meal. Service and ambience were GREAT! Didn’t have to yell to talk to one another and server was very attentive.

I come here so often Pete’s Spicy Chicken and Shrimp should probably be named after me.
It’s my “traditional” order at this point. I don’t read the menu. I don’t explore. I’ve committed.
I love this place. The food’s great, the staff doesn’t judge my lack of personal growth, and Pete continues to absolutely nail that chicken and shrimp. Every. Single. Time.
Ps because I’m sure it should be said authentic & Traditional Italian food

Their entrees were just mediocre, house salad was a bit wilted. They had a good wine selection, fresh bread and great fried cheese and calamari appetizers.

We have been there two times and our first opinion did not change with the second visit. Our last visit ran against their 8:30 p.m. closing and while we were wrapping up our meal, (8:40 or so) I caught the owner or manager sitting at a table in the adjacent dining room facing us and glaring us down. Our party had a $200+ ticket with appetizers, entrees, 2 bottles of wine and dessert. We are always respectful and would not overstay after hours however I do expect to be allowed to complete our meal without having someone staring me down. I take major offense to having anyone rushing me out especially when it is but minutes after closing.

We have visited for our last time.

I just finished up lunch here for the first time ever, and I must say that I feel completely satisfied with my dining experience.

I ordered the lasagna lunch special with a glass of their house cab, I sat outside because of our amazing January weather, and my server, Steve, took care of everything perfectly.

I love supporting small businesses like this, and will continue to do so in the future.

God bless and good journey!

We saw that the reviews for this family owned place raved about the food. We walked in and saw there were several tables in the main dining room but the host separated a group of tables and then seated us. So instead we were seated toward the path to the restroom and next to the owners table. The host quickly got our beverages and then we didn’t see anyone for over half an hour. We finally flagged someone down to take our order and he quickly ran off. Fifteen minutes later we got our salads and I asked if we’d get bread, he regretfully came back saying it was in the oven and would be out in two minutes. We watched as 3 or 4 baskets of bread came out to other tables so we flagged someone down and asked if he could get us bread. He came out to tell us there was no bread and would be out of the oven in 3 minutes. I explained to him that we’d been told we’d have bread to eat with our salads in 2 minutes. He then said, I can’t help you, I’m not your waiter, which was a bit off-putting, so I asked him to relay our concern to our waiter. A few minutes later our waiter finally brought us bread and raced off, while we both had empty glasses and couldn’t get refills. After waiting a while longer I finally got up and refilled our drinks. There was a larger party in the room next to us and they must’ve been friends of the family as they were getting great service. We just felt like we were an inconvenience to the staff. The only saving grace was the delicious bread and the artichoke chicken. My friend ordered the sausage and pepper sandwich which she said was a bit dry. I could tell they were a bit short staffed but having to wait an hour for food and never getting refills with ice was frustrating and disappointing. We always are looking for locally owned places to try but this one missed the mark.

We have lived nearby for years and have somehow missed this hidden gem. My husband had the ravioli and I had the chicken marsala with a side of fried zucchini. All I can say is WOW! Everything was so full of flavor! The bread is one of the best I have ever had. To top it off, the customer service is wonderful! We will definitely be back.

Loved the family owned restaurant! We love to find new places and decided to try this one. It’s a quaint and quiet little restaurant, the food was fresh and full of flavor. Ordered the Pete’s spicy chicken and shrimp Alfredo and it was so good! Wait staff was friendly, great date night spot.

Will visit again!

It has been awhile since I last visited. Restaurant is a little out of our normal area where we eat but was very happy to see the service and food is still very good. Will try to put this in our normal rotation of places to eat Italian.

Nice Mom n Pop sort of place. My favorite items are the pizza, cannelloni and the fettuccine Alfredo. I’ve been eating here for over 25 years and will keep going back.

Thought we would give this local independent Italian spot a try, and wholly regret the money spent and meal eaten. Sandwich was dry as a bone (said it came with house vinaigrette) and despite my specific note to please not put tomato on it, it had fat juicy tomato slices on it. The bread was fresh at least. Definitely not what I expected for $10, though. I’ve had better sandwiches at subway. Asked for house salad and for Cesar instead, which was just a handful of romaine in a box with a sprinkle of Kraft grated Parmesan and a cup of dressing. Not even croutons or anything. Chicken fettuccine Alfredo was greasy and flavorless. Ordered and 8” cheese pizza and was appalled with what arrived – they should really be embarrassed. They could have put a microwave pizza in the box and passed it off better. Flat as a board, and no flavor whatsoever. Quite a sad little pizza. It all added up to a really poor experience. Wasn’t a situation where an error was made or anything…. This is just bad and sad “Italian” food. Will not eat here again and will certainly not recommend to others. Two thumbs down.
