So good, I wish we would have come here sooner! My husband and I both loved our meals. I am gluten free and it’s so hard to find a place with good gluten free pasta and this place is amazing! I would definitely recommend!

We came here as a party of 12 for dinner to celebrate my college graduation. I had never been here before (heard great things!), but they were so kind and helpful about getting my reservation set up. Everything was amazing and the entire group loved our food! Plenty of pasta for leftovers and we’re drooling over these cannolis 🙂 Thank you! I was able to have such a special time with my friends.

Wish we would have come here sooner. Everything was perfect: quick, quality, creative dishes and cocktails. The atmosphere is simple and beautiful. We will be back!

As I entered the restaurant I stood at the front counter for a few minutes while two ladies stared at me. I was not greeted. There weren’t any visible signs that I saw, so I wasn’t sure if I seated myself or if they would. I asked one of the ladies if I sat myself or not. Still no greeting. She asked if this was my first time and I replied yes. She handed me two menus and told me I could seat myself. She also stated once I looked over the menu to return to the counter to order. My son and I sat ourselves in the dining room straight ahead. The room was as cold as the attitudes of the employees but this did not detour us. I had read great reviews about the food so I still wanted to try this place. I returned to the counter to place my order. I was given our drinks and a number. She asked if I wanted a receipt and I did then I proceeded back to my seat. Our food came out and it was a 7/10. The noodles were a little undercooked. The seasoning was fine though. As we ate we could hear employees loudly talking from the kitchen. We were almost done with our food and a lady finally came to the table and asked if the food tasted ok and if we needed drink refills. She did quickly refill my sons drink. I didn’t need a refill. I was pretty much over the experience at this point. As we left there was a man standing behind the counter. He didn’t say thanks for coming in or we hope you return. He just stared as we walked out the door. A simple greeting and salutation go a long way. It also would have been nice for the lady to have made a recommendation or tell me about any specials they may have had as this was my first time. I was highly disappointed.

I would love to give this place a 5 star review but I just cannot. I have wanted to try them for a very long time and now I am not sure I will ever be back. Let’s begin with the fact that I parked nearest to what I thought was a handicap entrance as I possibly could. Guess what? It isn’t a handicap entrance. The only entrance I could find was way away from the handicap parking spots with steps to enter. This place is unfortunately not a handicap friendly establishment. Thankfully my mom was not in her wheelchair. You walk into the place and you have to order and pay at the register. There was only one cashier at the station when we arrived. I told her this was our first time here. We made three separate orders as we were dining together like we always do but paying for ourselves. The cashier was pleasant and did help me decided on my meal. I had to ask where the drink station was as it is around the corner. No one told us we should have ordered together to get our food kind of at the same time but we will get to that. My pasta was delicious but my grandson’s fettuccine was bland and full of butter. This house dressing you have is weird. Why is it just oil and lemon? There is no seasoning, no spice, just bland oily slightly lemony dressing. That salad would have been perfect with a better dressing. I personally though the bread was delicious but it needed real whipped butter not those tiny packs of store bought butter. When my mom ordered the prosciutto panini why didn’t you say something about it taking longer than the pasta? Because when we waited 30 minutes for it you acted like we should have known and we shouldn’t be complaining! We were all done eating except for her. You then told us we should have all ordered together! Like WHAT? If you wanted everyone to order together you should taken the orders at the table and then split checks as needed. I waited so long to come here and I am so disappointed with the experience. To top off the whole experience of having to get my walker bound mother back to the car, someone was parked right next to our car in a non parking spot. It is actually where the wheelchairs would go to the other building next door to you. This spot should be clearly marked stating it is not a parking spot as they were actually the second vehicle I saw park there during this visit. I had to move just to get her into the car. Wouldn’t be a place a recommended at this time.

Thoroughly disappointed in this place. Decided to try it for the first time today, the ciabatta bread and bread for the panini was absolutely rock hard. Not enjoyable at all. Also, the Alfredo sauce doesn’t have much flavor.

We ordered spaghetti and meatballs, spaghetti carbanara, caprese salad and garlic bread. The sauce on the spaghetti and meatballs could have been from a can of chef baruderee (sp?) the meatballs were so tough they could hardly be cut with a knife, the lunch special spaghetti carbanara was so dry you could hardly eat it, the caprese salad was so so and the garlic bread was okay. I would not recommend this restaurant based on what we received and the price.

You must try the tortellini. Oh and the GARLIC BREAD with a side of alfredo sauce . I will definitely be back. The food is hot when served. I did not like the red sauce as much but that’s because it was not as rich and flavored as the white sauce.

One of my FAVORITE restaurants in Shreveport spaghetti and meatballs is my go-to. This is a “small” size, I always have plenty of leftovers (but it takes self control to not devour it all in one sitting, lol).
Their garlic bread is great too and same goes for desserts. I definitely recommend trying this place. As good as it gets

I usually have no complaints about Giuseppe’s and have written positive reviews in the past but the last two times I have eaten here the quality has been a missed. Today I got the lemon/salmon ravioli (the daily special $23 dollars with tax) was such a disappointment, especially at that price. The filling was very uneven and most of the pasta had almost no filling, in fact 2 of my ravioli had zero filling. Pasta undercooked. Flavor okay, overly strong lemon with no balance at all. It was also somehow cold despite me waiting 15 minutes for it at the restaurant.
Where is the quality control? Had I not ordered it to go and realized much too late after I was already home I would have definitely sent this back.
