I was on my way to NJ on a Tuesday night with my wife and was looking for places to have some good dinner that has a nice atmosphere. I checked best restaurants in Staten Island and Giuliana came out on top. I was skeptical about it because nowadays reviews may not be genuine sometimes.

Sorry, but the red sauce is absolutely horrible. It tasted completely flavorless and raw. There wasn’t an ounce if flavor in it. I would absolutely never go back. Completely disappointing. I could HONESTLY say it was the WORST sauce or (gravy) I’ve ever had. The fried calamari was also atrocious, rubbery and way over cooked.

I can’t talk highly enough of this place!!!! Absolutely incredible! BEST Italian food my boyfriend and I had in a long time on the island. Super friendly and over accommodating service with fresh and delicious food! My boyfriend requested pesto off the menu- AMAZING. Can’t wait to come back! The mussels and artichoke appetizer was so great I didn’t get to take a picture and I can’t forget to mention their cheesecake and pistachio gelato. Incredible experience!
