Ordered late night Valentine’s Day for work. 3 large pizzas (Pepperoni, Cheese, Hawaiian) they made them heart shaped. Had to wait an extra 15 minutes since someone cut a slice out of one of them which doesn’t make sense as to why someone working there would if you see it’s a special order. Cheese and Pepperoni were good, the Hawaiian one was a little dry, didn’t know they don’t put tomato sauce on their Hawaiian. The bread knots were really good tho. Service is good too, typical laidback NY style pizzeria.

Gitto’s Pizzeria in downtown Orlando has been a go-to spot for years and is often mentioned as one of the better pizza options in Florida. What keeps it interesting, though, is how the atmosphere continues to evolve while staying true to its roots.

At its core, this is classic New York–style grab-and-go pizza. You order by choosing slices through the glass, with plenty of options that go beyond traditional toppings—standouts like chicken bacon ranch and buffalo-style slices are clearly crowd favorites.

The atmosphere is where Gitto’s really shines. From the outside, it looks like a simple hole-in-the-wall, but once inside, there’s more personality and energy than you’d expect. The complimentary garlic knots were an unexpected and appreciated bonus.

The dough is flavorful and familiar—exactly what you want from a NYC-style slice. I ordered the chicken bacon ranch, and it delivered: not overly sauced (which is key, since ranch can easily overpower), perfectly cooked bacon, and solid chicken that didn’t taste frozen or pre-made.

Pizza is subjective, and this is just my experience—but it’s important to judge Gitto’s for what it is. This is New York grab-and-go pizza, not Italian, Chicago, Detroit, or a big chain like Papa John’s. If you know the style going in and set your expectations accordingly, this place absolutely delivers.

I went into this place hyped since my close brothers prasied this place as the pizza place in downtown. And honestly, they weren’t wrong, cus wooo weee it was good, especially the lasagna pizza (sooooo much cheese). And honestly, the vibe of the place felt like classical setting with the mixture of more modern perspectives. Like drawing on the wall and being 2 floors. Fitting the city settings, definitely worth the price for how big the pizzas were.

I ordered a large pepperoni pizza from Gitto’s Pizza, and it came with garlic knots. The price was very affordable, especially considering the size and amount of food — the slices were huge! The pizza was hot and fresh, with just the right amount of cheese and pepperoni. The garlic knots were soft, flavorful, and a nice bonus with the order. Delivery was right on time, no delays at all. Overall, great value and tasty food. I’ll definitely be ordering from here again!

The pizza skulls are definitely something u gotta try, they are so good. The owner is so kind, he for sure love his job. He told us that he had his pizza place for several years in Puerto Rico and now he’s been in downtown for a lil bit more than 15 yrs. Definitely coming back to support my fellow boricua! ❤️‍

I love Gittos pizza and I have for so many years. I’ve been coming here since it was Gino’s pizza back in the 2000’s and the flavor has only gotten better. Will continue to keep coming back.

I went downtown last week and stopped into Sidebar for drinks and food. Unfortunately, the experience there was extremely disappointing. We asked the bartender, Sariya, for shots and inquired about ordering food. She told us the POS system was down. I assumed she would check with someone or come back with an update, but she never did. Instead, she approached us asking for a card to close out the tab because she claimed we were going to “walk out” on it. That accusation was rude and completely uncalled for.
Because of the poor service, we decided to leave and head upstairs to the bar at Gittos, which is connected next door and owned by the same people. That ended up being the best decision we made. Sam was the bartender upstairs, and she gave us an amazing experience. We were able to order food and drinks without any issues and actually enjoy our time.

Unfortunately, the situation didn’t end there. Sariya came upstairs with someone who had instigated the situation and even brought security, which felt completely unnecessary and intimidating. She confronted Sam after someone named Shawn—who frequents both venues—misinterpreted a conversation where I was explaining why we left Sidebar. When Sariya came upstairs aggressively, I made it clear that I was the one who had made the comments. She then loudly claimed that we hadn’t paid our tab downstairs, which was completely false. We had proof of charges from both venues.
The entire situation was unprofessional and made us very uncomfortable. As someone who is also a bartender, I would never speak to guests or handle a situation in that manner.

I do want to give Sam her flowers—she did an outstanding job and turned our night around. Management should really speak with their staff about professionalism and customer service because experiences like this discourage people from coming back.

Best pie in Orlando by far, they got the crunch of the dough just right, and it isn’t too greasy. Friendly guys running the place. Really cool dining area and bar. Definitely stopping by here every time I’m downtown.

Good pizza place in Orlando Down Town. They have many options in pizza. We tried tomato basil nd cheese and it was delicious . The crisp of the base is makes difference rather than other pizza in town.

Per slice it cost around 8$ which is lil bit expensive but it’s down town so it’s would be higher price.
Highly recommend place for pizza slice
