We visited for lunch today.
We had the Amore Mío pizza and Gamberi salad with chicken. The salad was very bland and lacked color.
The pizza was not the best pizza around in this high competition eatery community. It had very little meat. It was recommended by the waiter.
Overall not a good experience.

Took my co worker for a birthday lunch. We shared a verde pasta and the pear walnut pizza. Both great options. The bread was warm and toasty. For her birthday, they gave her a complimentary tiramisu that was very good! Best to eat pizza in the restaurant, this type of pizza is better to eat just as soon as it gets out of the oven. Service was very friendly.

We had lunch at GiroPizza on Tuesday and were overwhelmed by the setting, menu, chefs, and quality of the food. The decor is upbeat, playful, and colorful blessed with clean lines and tastefully arranged tables and booths. The kitchen is behind a glass window allowing the diners to watch the chefs prepare their meals. They have a large outside patio under large umbrellas that will be eventually be closed in and climate controlled. Executive Chef Danny Barbos of Turin, Italy, carries the nicknames The Pizza Whisperer and The Culinary Picasso. He creates culinary masterpieces worthy of a Michelin Star. Actually Danny already has three prestigious Michelin Bib Gourmands for other restaurants he vaulted to excellence that offer high-quality food at a reasonable price. We started with the Arancini and Polpette Duo appetizer. We had two deep fried tomato risotto balls with mozzarella in the middle and two mouthwatering beef meatballs with seasoning, ricotta, and basil. Get this appetizer, you’ll like it! For the main courses, we ate some special meals prepared by Chef Danny. I had the blackened salmon with blackened shrimp and a medley of grilled veggies. My wife has the roasted lamb with grilled veggies. Both were to die for! Perfectly cooked, extremely flavorful, beautifully presented. These aren’t on the standard menu so call ahead a few days to make arrangements with Danny for these or other Italian favorites. The Tiramisu was absolutely scrumptious, a perfect way to end an unforgettable meal. This fun restaurant has a full-service bar, extremely friendly servers and manager, and ample parking. We used to drive one-and-a-half hours each way to eat at Danny’s previous restaurant and we drive 35-minutes to this location. We will be back next week!

My wife and I live in Houston and we were visiting Flower Mound where we lived several years ago. In the mood for Italian food, we met some friends at Giro Pizza, a restaurant I’ve heard about for some time. We shared some appetizers, that included Nonna’s Meatballs that were generously served and delicious. I had the veal special and my wife had the cannelloni. The veal was spectacular along side the well seasoned roasted Brussel sprouts. The wine which comes from the owner’s family winery in Italy was reasonably priced and excellent (they also have a full bar) We topped things off with dessert and the traditional lemon cello. Whatever was left over we brought home to enjoy again the next day. The place felt warm, inviting and the wait staff was attentive, professional and friendly. If we still lived in Flower Mound, GiroPizza would be on our circuit of date night, dining out experiences.

We have been a dozen times and it never disappoints! Giros Pizza offers a delightful experience with their delicious and freshly-made pizzas. The crust is perfectly crispy, and the toppings are generous and flavorful. The staff is always friendly and definitely get the Italian waffle for dessert!

Awesome times and yummy food with family and friends for group events. The lovely brunch Bellini flight was so fun to try! Every time I order their monthly pasta, I’ve enjoyed them tremendously. We ordered delicious trays and charcuterie for our home holiday party as well as for work related happy hours.
Everything was so flavorful and well presented. Very family friendly, My little girl’s favorite restaurant!

We drive quite a distance to come here once a week. Feels authentic and homey.
The food is excellent.
We always get the caesar salad, which the toast is incredible, and the chicken parmesan, which the penne alfredo that it comes with is the best in the industry.
It’s a very warm location, with a very friendly and welcoming staff.
It’s such a nice and refreshing touch to have the kitchen fully visible and open.
This is a high quality restaurant that is very much worth the ride!

Having just returned from Europe – Italy being one of the places – I wanted to find some comparable restaurants to satisfy any future Italian cravings.
Giro had a great staff the day I visited, the waiter was incredibly friendly and kind and checked on us frequently. We ordered two pies and one pasta dish. The food came at a reasonable time – 15ish minutes. I got the Calabrese and margarita pizza and rosso pasta. I enjoy thin Neapolitan style pizzas so this was pretty good. The crust was a little hard. I was thoroughly impressed with the pasta and would get it again! They have a glass window see through kitchen that makes it feel immersive and inviting.
