We are so picky about our Mexican food. We’re from California and are used to authentic not TexMex. I’m always disappointed when we leave Mexican restaurants so we make it at home. We decided to try this place that was suggested and it was pretty good. We will go back. The only drawback is the chips are like the tostada shells you buy in bags at Walmart and the beans have no flavor but the tortilla soup broth was very delicious. The rest of the food was good. We’d go back. The waitress was very friendly and the place was very clean.

Loved the sound of Mexican music playing and the delicious smells coming from the kitchen. Made me miss home. Finally found a place that knows how to cook Mexican food the way my family does. Got cheese enchiladas and beef taco with rice and beans….too yummy I didn’t get photos .. oh and the small nachos with shredded beef were delicious. Sorry ate everything before I thought of a pic

I ate here a few years ago and really enjoyed the food, so I came back Monday hoping for another good experience. Unfortunately, this visit was a whole different story. I ordered the lunch tamales and only managed a few bites before my stomach started staging a protest. I figured maybe I just wasn’t that hungry… until I hit the red light by McDonald’s and, well, let’s just say the highway got a surprise tamale encore. Projectile vomiting out the truck window while holding up traffic wasn’t exactly how I pictured lunch ending. Not sure I’ll be going back after that performance.

What a little hidden gem of a restaurant!! Tucked away off the side of Armstrong Ave. Is this “blink and you’ll miss it” little Mexican food spot that you’ve just got to try! The friendly servers and the excellent food paired with the “you’re always welcome here” vibe makes this little neighborhood restaurant a true treasure!! My date ordered the taco and Enchilada dinner and I had the chicken fajitas.. everything was so delicious!!
