we made a reservation a month in advance. upon arrival the hostess said there were no seats in the main dining room. we could sit in the bar area on an ottoman or outside in the boiling heat looking at scaffolding. not a great start. another server wound up seating us at a table that was fine. the drinks and appetizers were fine. it seemed like a long time until the main course came out. my husband’s salmon (no exaggeration) was smaller than a child’s portion. how they could actually bring that out is a joke. when we complained they took it back. unfortunately the other three people were finished their meals by the time the new piece of salmon appeared. that being said, I am sure if we were seated in the main dining room and the food was timely, it would be fine. it is a lot of money to have a dining experience like that. in my opinion, they should have sent a round of drinks, dessert, comped the meal. just not charging for the salmon was a joke.

I was alone and ate at the bar. I had the beautiful bartender surprise me and had her choose my food as everything looked good on the menu. She chose the octopus as an appetizer and it was delicious. The portion was large and the taste and presentation were on point. For my main course she brought me the veal parmigiana. I was reminded of the movie Ratatouille, where a simple dish was made so well a critic cried as it reminded him of his childhood. This veal parmigiana did the same thing to me. It was elegant tasting in its simplicity and could not be improved upon. It arrived piping hot, the portion was huge, and the flavor was outstanding. I could not have been any happier and I would highly recommend this restaurant.

Beautiful ambiance. Delicious food. Large portions. Delicious drinks, especially the Expresso chocolate martini ( best of both worlds). Fantastic staff. Friendly vibe. And as a carpaccio fan, this is carpaccio heaven !!!! Wonderful presentation for Restaurant Week. I thank them for participating in this event.

My friend took me here for my Birthday this week and between food, service and the complimentary birthday dessert surprise we had an amazing time. The server was so kind on everything and I believe the owner or manger was wonderful. He would stop by to see if we were enjoying ourselves and the food. Highly recommend if you are looking for not only great authentic Italian food but also experience.

The food wasn’t great. My pasta looked like it was stuck on the plate when we ate it. It seemed microwaves and the sauce was very dry. Maybe it was a one off but, I don’t think so. Unfortunately, I have had better food in olive garden. Everyone was very nice and the ambiance was nice too. Just need to make things fresher and have a better pasta to sauce ratio as well as make the sauce a creamier consistency.

We visited Girasole this past weekend. The food is very good at this restaurant but it took a total of 45 minutes after we received our appetizer to get our entrées. We were told the kitchen was behind and then waited another 10 minutes after that. The waiters/waitresses kept walking behind our seats to the point of knocking my handbag off the chair. The tables are placed very close to one another and that wasn’t a walkway. We have been going to this restaurant for a long time over the years and I think they have just gotten too big. I would think twice before going back there in the summer.
