Fun atmosphere. Great staff. Attentive, comfortable. Nice bar space and plenty of tvs for the sports fans.

Food on this first time there was not great overall.

The Good.

The portion sizes were very generous.
The prices were also very reasonable.

Chicken wings well done were great.
Crispy hot and delicious.

Ceasar salad looked good.

The steak was enjoyed by another at my table. They really liked it.

The burger looked good.

I had the hadock sandwich which was likewarm and not crispy.
The fries were oily soggy limp cold.

My son, 14, got chicken tender dinner.
I didn’t try it. He usually devours it but stated it was chewy and grisly. He couldn’t eat it.That being said, I know some people dont mind the tendon that runs down the tenderloin. Personally. I prefer not to chew on that. They did look like very fresh strips though and they give you a ton. I noticed a bunch of people ordered them so it must be a favorite.

Another person got a burger. They liked it. It did look fine.

I might go back and try other things. Probably a great place to have some beers and watch sports on another occasion. I hear the nachos are good.

I dont know. The place was packed with locals for what that is worth. Really the pictures online of the food tell it all.

Love here!

We been there twice in same month! For our short trip in Maine.

Highly recommend!! Friendly staff, good vibes, good food. I love every menu we orders.

They also have lady night on every Wednesday not sure what a deal but some discount on mix drink for lady I think.

Highlight is liver and onions!! so tasty and huge portion. And can’t find easier.

Also french fried with chunk of cheese is so good..

Kids friendly they have tablet for kid to play.

Went there for family gathering. Their chicken fingers everyone says are good were dry inside and out. So overcooked they cracked when I bit into them and crumbs were going all over the plate and table. Fries and broccoli were good. Not impressed at all.

The atmosphere was fun, the prices were right. Had a great waitress. We were brought in by the rumor of Gippers having the best chicken tenders in town. Unfortunately, they didn’t live up to the expectations. They were dry, tough, and very overcooked. The fries were underdone and soggy. Just lackluster overall. Maybe I just didn’t get the best batch but would be willing to try again if the issue is addressed.

Great local pub with good food, friendly staff, some local / New England brews on tap and just a good atmosphere. We stopped by a few times during our visit to the area and everything was really good each time. Lady’s night was slammed! Haha. Popular place for the locals for sure.

This was our first time going here. It was much bigger inside then you’d think. Womens bathroom was very clean and nice, possibly recently updated. Food was decent, drinks were good. Pricing was reasonable. Server was friendly. Lots of option on the menu. We will come again.

The waitress was excellent. Got a chicken tender’s meal. The tenders were anything but. Like eating chicken jerky only without the flavor. Literally had to rip it apart as it wouldn’t cut. Worst chicken tenders that i’ve ever gotten anywhere in my life. My son got a chicken roll up and the chicken. was just as bad in his sandwich. He ate half. I ate one tender and took the rest home.To give to his dog. He actually liked them, to give them some credit. The sides were bland and mediocre.Even the lemonade tasted like dollar store cool aide sickly sweet.

Generic and cliche sports pub but my husband and I enjoyed the food. The nachos were $18 but they could feed 3+ people. I wish they had a bigger beer selection but the beer I had was good. Our waitress was nice and fairly attentive!

Hungrily looking for a bite to eat post hike. A quick Yelp search and Gipper’s popped up. Going in blindly, this place was a pleasant surprise. Packed to the brim with sports memorabilia, this place had all the makings and feels of a great local hometown place. Seated immediately and handed menus, my friend and I ordered two local brews and browsed the menu. The menu is huge. There are so many options it was hard to choose. A lot of the burgers and tasty meals are named after famous athletes. One recommendation I can definitely say would be the chicken tenders. Holy moly! I don’t typically brag about chicken but these were hot, tender, juicy, and crispy. I opted for a chicken club and my friend went with the steak. Our food was promptly served and like the tenders, equally delicious. Service here is great. Definitely looking forward to a return trip.
