Giovedi is a really beautiful, upscale spot with a unique Japanese-Italian fusion that comes through clearly in the food. Everything we had was delicious, and the presentation was thoughtful and creative, right down to the plates. Portions were on the smaller side and prices were on the higher end, but it felt like a good choice for a special occasion.
What really stood out was the service, the wait staff was amazing. They knew the menu well, answered all our questions, and made the whole experience feel relaxed and enjoyable. Overall, a memorable dinner and a great place to celebrate something special.

My wife and I brought a couple of friends from out of town to Giovedì and had an incredible night. The ambiance is intimate and lively, the staff is warm and welcoming, and the food—an inventive mix of Italian technique and pan-Asian flavors—is outstanding.

We tried a lot of dishes and loved every single one. The plates were creative yet comforting, and the curated wine list paired beautifully with everything we ordered—we enjoyed a few bottles and every pour was spot-on.

Giovedì truly feels like dining at a friend’s stylish dinner party—fun, relaxed, and full of good energy. It’s an absolute must-try, and we can’t wait to come back.

It took me way too long but my wife and I finally made it to Giovedi at the strong recommendation of many friends. It was awesome. The moment you step in to the restaurant you feel warmly welcomed.

We sat at the bar which we always enjoy doing. The bartender Michael took great care of us and we even had a chance to talk with the owner Jen while we enjoyed the onion dip, green salad, and three pastas – the Capellini Granchio, Spaghetti AOP, and Gnocchi Mapolonese. Soooo delicious.

Michael paired up some great wines and needless to say we left very happy. Can’t wait to return to try more of the menu.

We’ve visited Giovedi once. The space is small but tastefully decorated. We ordered the Hokkaido Milk Rolls with black garlic butter, which was delicious. We also ordered the Prosciutto San Daniele with Vietnamese sesamo donuts and giardiniera pickles (this ended up being my favorite dish and it was truly unique- the giardiniera was amazing- see pics below). For dinner I ordered the Mushroom Donburi, made of nanatsuboshi white & venere black rice, cilantro pesto, pine nut, pecorino romano- which was heavier and greasier than I anticipated, but it was still good. I also want to mention that there’s no airconditioning, probably due to the age of the building, so needless to say, it was really hot inside. Overall I recommend this restaurant.

Loved the vibe, staff were so helpful in wine and food selection. Enjoyed all of our appetizers and entrees with favorites being the foie gras and onion dip with shrimp chips. Capellini Granchio with crab was exquisite, close 2nd was Tagliatelle Mapolonese. Surprised by elevated char siu pork, not the usual local style, red wine plums were a treat and pork so tender.

The Ragu pasta was incredible and flavorful, but what really stood out to me was the amazing and kind service of the staff. They make you feel right at home even when you’re far from home. I’d eat here again in a heartbeat, please don’t miss out!

Food and drinks were excellent! The scallop carpaccio was my favorite, it was fresh, bright and had the best crunch texture from the pistachios. I also had the capellini granchio which was delicious as well. Highly recommend this place!

Overall, very solid food!!! Super delicious and unique flavor combinations.
My friends and I went for dinner here and split a few dishes. I LOVED the Hokkaido milk rolls with black garlic butter! So good! But it seems kinda sad that my favorite dish was some bread with butter (albeit perhaps some of the best bread & butter I’ve had). Hence I couldn’t give this place 5 stars.

We also got the Ahi Carpaccio, Gnocchi Mapolonese, and Dan Mien. While these dishes were well-executed and were a fun twist on familiar dishes/flavors, they were a bit forgettable. They weren’t bad or anything, just not so amazing that I need to come back if that makes sense. Especially since it was not cheap. However, definitely worth a try!
