There is parking on the street. It is pet friendly. Patio seating in the front or back of restaurant. We opted to order at the takeout express which is very convenient. They got my hubby’s order mixed up. He ordered the fried scallops and fries. Instead he was given fries only. The server at the pickup was confused when my hubby returned the wrong order. He had to tell him several times and showed the receipt. The scallops were over cooked and small portion. Not worth the high price My hubby was very disappointed. However my salmon poke and clam chowder were delicious. We ordered grilled hamburger patty for our doggies.

Great Seafood-Fastfood restaurant freshly delivered from sea to table. My popcorn shrimps were very fresh, tasty, crispy and still juicy. Best quality!
The sauces could need some more attention as they were not on the same level. The fish tacos were on average.

I was visiting Morro Bay and had to make a stop at Giovanni’s for its seafood.
Initially we wanted to stop by for lunch and tried out the seafood platter when we realised we were too early (10am) and the hot foods weren’t available yet. However, their shop is open and the lady was very kind with attentive service although she seemed to be preparing the shop for service.
We grabbed a dozen of fresh raw oysters ($20) and opted to have it opened too (additional $6, which is reasonable, since opening oysters is kinda difficult).
Loved the freshness of the oysters and loved the service and the experience we had.

We ordered ahead on the Google maps website and the food was ready right on time. The scallops were fantastic, really enjoyed the cocktail sauce. The magic poke is really good too, they add a bunch of stuff like pineapples and seaweed!

We ordered calamari and chips to go. They were to perfection. It was worth every cent we paid. My husband and I shared and had plenty for both. We will be sending our family and friends. Highly recommend this place. The best we have ever had. Our thanks to the chef. Very friendly, handsome young guy at the window. How could a person ask for more. I can’t wait to say I’m back.

Went yesterday for dinner with my family. We have never tried this place before and was very recommended by many friends and family. We had multiple bad experiences. The cashier was rude asked her what does a menu item exactly have. (Firecracker shrimp) she said shrimp and rice. OK… well I just ordered what we wanted. But worse it took almost 1 hour to get our food! Spent $96! There was tons of people in front and behind us in the line. Tables were all taken everyone had gotten their food and left the ones that ordered before and after us! 50 MINUTES!!! I demanded to talk to the manager when I asked the girl who was at the window giving the food she was rude and just said “some lady wants to talk to the manager!” Now I’m just some lady! When I litterly had asked her like 15 minutes prior about my food she said 5 more min! My toddler was starving and so was my special needs daughter and her blood sugar drops if she doesn’t eat at certain times! And it did! We were pissed! Manager did give us the money back but it was ridiculous to have to wait for almost 1 hour for food! We will definitely not be going back to that place! Save your money and time and go somewhere else there’s tons of food spots at walking distance. We were not the only ones that they took forever to give the food to. There was 3 other families but they didn’t wait for almost 1 like we did.

We happen upon this place while on our honeymoon. It looked like a popular place since there was a line out front. Turns out the locals eat here so you know it must be good. We ordered fish & chips along with clam chowder in a bread bowl. The food did not disappoint. We loved it so much! Out of all the restaurants in Morro Bay to choose from we ended up eating at Giovanni’s again the next night! It’s THAT good. We look forward to visiting again.
