Had been a few years since I had pizza from this place and today it was a disappointment. To start the business does not seem very put together and leaves a dead atmosphere along with the cashier having to look up pricing on the website on their phone. The pizza looked as appetizing as it wasn’t, crust was cooked but too soft plus the cheese and pepperoni were undercooked. Then the cheesy garlic bread crust was great with a slight crisp on the bottom but the taste of garlic was missing. For the money I feel you get a better product across the street a Bennett’s pizzeria I hope this changes and they get they’re act together before the pizza was good but the hours were spotty now it’s reversed.

We were so excited to try this restaurant for pizza & wings. We were completely disappointed with the $50 meal. 2 dozen very over cooked & small wings with barely any sauce. 1 order we ordered plain for our son who doesn’t like sauce but they were so overcooked & dry he couldn’t even eat them. The other order was garlic Parmesan & looked exactly like the other order bc there was barely any sauce.
My husband waited an extra 20min after the original pickup time in the store while watching the cook talk on her phone the entire time cooking the wings.
The pizza was so much dough and $18 for a large pizza topping.
The entire order was absolutely not worth $50…. Total waste of money.
So disappointing. And I do not like to ever bash a small owned business but this day & age …everyone is watching their money & it was like throwing $50 in the garbage.

My family ordered takeout, 3 pizzas for a family event. 1 of the pizzas arrived fine the other 2 looks like they shook it in the box before giving it to the delivery driver. The mushroom pizza, half of it had no toppings or cheese. That’s because it was all over the corner of the box. We took a photo and attempted to send it to the store. We also called, we just wanted to tell them about the pizzas (we figured they were new and just wanted to provide feedback, we didn’t even want a refund. My family is in the restaurant business so we understand how hard it is to start out) but when we called we were “greeted” by a man who can only be assumed as the owner or a manager who clearly had his cheerios pissed on that morning because the conversation I overheard on the phone was appalling. The man was beyond angry with our feedback and was literally screaming over the phone at my grandfather. We will not be ordering from them again, I highly recommend you don’t either. The only okay pizza that arrived (the cheese pizza) was a solid 6/10 and resembled a flatbread with how thin it was. My family also believed the other pizzas were undercooked but I thought they were fine. 2/10 pizza joint. Fire the rude manager or if its the owner seek help dude. I can see why half the ratings are 1 star.

There’s a reason I was the only customer at 530pm on a Saturday…Awful Food. Multiple missing items. Poor customer service blaming the 3rd party ordering service.
If you want the long version…I placed an online order. I accidentally clicked the wrong toppings for the left half of my pizza so I called to ask to swap it and we verified all the toppings I wanted. The girl was lovely. Said no problem. I go and pick up the pizza and apps. Get home. I’m missing an app and I’m missing a topping. The girl that helped me said they haven’t had that app in a while and that it can’t even be ordered on the website. I told her that’s incorrect and to check her receipt bc its on mine. She said she’d call the 3rd party and have me refunded for the app. I then asked about the incorrect pizza and I get the same story….shouldnt be able to order it. 3rd parties fault. They’ll refund you.
I get that things happen. But why I am annoyed is because you knew you were out of these items. They are clearly on the order. When I called we discussed my order. Yet you let me leave with an incorrect order and get all the way home to discover it myself. I should have been informed when I called that these items were unavailable and given the choice to cancel my order. Or at the very least I could have been refunded for the unavailable items and then be told when I picked up the order.
In the end I received STORE CREDIT for just the app which, after tasting the food I received, THEY CAN KEEP. Chicken tenders were a weird color and overcooked. So tough. The mozzarella sticks were cheap frozen things. Poppers were gross, no flavor whatsoever. Onion rings overcooked and cooked in the same old oil everything else was. Cheesy bread was bland. Pizza was meh, missing the toping and extra sauce I ordered. Definitely nothing I’d go back for. And while writing this…I just realized I’m missing parts of the appetizer sampler I purchased. Go literally anywhere else for your pizza and apps.

My stars are totally for the food! I ordered delivery and was so happy with my pizza. The delivery was on time, my pizza and hot and delicious. The cheese was so good and the sauce. The crust was tasty as was the green peppers and pepperoni, but the cheese was the star of the pizza for me! The price was right for what I ordered and enjoyed!
I’ll definitely order from The Original Giovanni’s Pizza again.

We really loved getting pizza from here but unfortunately we will no longer be able to order from Giovanni’s because they are so inconsistent. We order the same pizza every Thursday and each time the pizza looks completely different . Last time, they even forgot to cut it , and it was supposed to be 1/2 pepperoni 1/2 cheese but the pepperoni covered 75% of the pizza so my kids were unable to eat it. We can’t order from here anymore because you never know what you’re gonna get.
I did reach out to the owner very nicely to let them know that the pizzas are so inconsistent every week we order . He really didn’t seem to care at all and only asked irrelevant questions like “did you order over the phone or online?” & “what items do you order besides 1/2 pepperoni 1/2 cheese?” ….. Why would that even matter ? He made absolutely no attempt to address the problem and ended the conversation with “Gotcha” .
I guess this is what you get when you try to support a small local business. This is how they treat loyal customers, they’ll be out of business again by the end of summer .

Ordered a large sausage pizza, wings and a dinner salad on Friday night. Told wait time was 20 minutes and my order was done and hot when I got there! Loved the sausage. Very flavorful and wings were done perfect. The salad was big enough for 2 people. I was very impressed with the work staff. They were very friendly and professional. Also found out Bendix and Giovanni’s teamed up to give a free large pizza to veterans on Veterans Day weekend. I’m impressed and will definitely be back. Glad to have you in Strongsville.

We have never tried Giovannis and thought we would check it out. I should have known things would go wrong when it took a full 10 minutes to get my order placed with the manager who called me “honey” repeatedly, so cringey. We ordered two thin crust pizzas and we were misquoted the total. When I called back the manager refigured it properly. One of pizzas we got was not what I ordered and the other was burned. I called immediately and the manager said he could not make me a new pizza with black olives because the black olives were frozen and he used the last black olives on my wrong pizza. At this point I was like, forget it. Husband returned both pizzas and asked for a refund from the manager. The manager was nasty and awful. No refund was given. We will never order from Giovannnis again.
