We dined in with a party of 8. The staff were warm and friendly. The food came out fast and delicious! The portions were big and satisfying. We definitely took some home to enjoy the next day. We were celebrating my mom’s birthday and the owner’s wife made a surprise for our table…pistachio baklava! It was AMAZING! We will be coming back to support this family business, and you should too!

It was my first time at this restaurant. I tried the cauliflower pizza with the pesto style toppings. Very tasty! I believe it was the manager who welcomed me, he was friendly and professionalI.
I also got to try his wife’s baklava, which was fantastic. She made it just with the right amount of nuts, sugar, honey, lemon, and cinnamon. All of those delicious ingredients wedged between the flaky crust of the phyllo flour. Beautiful !

The buffalo chicken pizza was PERFECT!!! I made the mistake of getting it without the sauce but it was still good. I also got a regular sausage pie & both were delicious & made crispy.

The food at Giovanni’s In Concord, North Carolina off of Winco school Roadwas excellent. I really enjoy the cauliflower crust vegetarian pizza and my sister had the chicken Philly cheesesteak, which was awesome!!! We will definitely be back for seconds. Excellent replacement for Ohio pizza fans. Im from Columbus, OH and we take our family-owned pizza very serious. This shop is just as good as some of my hometown favorites. Got the traditional large pep to go. Came out piping hot, cooked to perfection (just slightly burnt) and loaded with cheese and pep. Very filling and delicious. Excited to try a thin-crust.
On a previous visit I tried a pep & sausage calzone and my girlfriend got a chicken parmesan and both loved our food. The staff are super cool as well. All around exceptional experience for that hometown pizza vibe. A++

I love the location, the atmosphere, the service and especially the food. The quality and quantity of food is the best. I eat at Giovannis at least twice a week, and I have not been disappointed. The 1 slice pizza is huge and delicious. The pasta w/ meatballs, the fried chicken strip salads are also good. Now I’m going to try their steak stromboli. We stopped in with a bunch of kids in tow and the owners were so sweet and nice! If they’re slow, maybe you’ll be lucky and get a personal lesson on how to make pizza for your kids! They had so much fun. The pizza is great and the homemade baklava was DELICIOUS. Definitely a great, casual, family spot.

BEWARE‼️‼️‼️‼️‼️ NEW OWNERS! The pizza does not taste the same at all. I ordered a pizza, went home. It was horrible. So I called the restaurant and the NEW OWNERS swears it’s the same ingredients and same cooks. The crust taste hard and bland, sauce is different and cheap cheese. He must have cut back on the quality and do not care at all. Skip this place and go to Rosario‘s Pizza ( 5303 poplar tent rd unit 130, concord) trust me you will thank me!!!!
