Took a doordash order for this little hole in the wall pizza place. The pizza smelled so good throughout the delivery that I had to give it a try. The staff are very friendly. We ordered the buffalo mild wings and a deluxe pizza. The wings came first and we devoured them. They were cooked to perfection and sauced with their own hot sauce which is amazing. The pizza arrived as we were finishing the wings and it looked and smelled perfect. From the first bite to the last it was delicious. Will definitely be back with the whole family.

Went today for the lunch Buffet, the pizza was delicious and they kept putting out fresh pizzas, with lots of different toppings.
So happy to finally have Giovanni’s pizza in Louisville!

If you have not visited this pizza place in jtown it is a must go to. But also know you’re going to spend around $15 per person including drink. For the buffet but definitely worth it. Food was really good hot and fresh.

My husband and I wanted to treat our basketball team to a post season celebration. My dad suggested we try Giovanni’s buffet just down the road from the game. My husband called to ask about how suitable it would be to host our celebration there and the call went great! They were very accommodating, just asked for a heads up when we were on our way. They took such great care of us, our kids, their families and everyone ate so much pizza, salad, and pasta. They even accommodated my need for GF crust. I tried the chicken bacon ranch and it was sooo good, I HIGHLY recommend. We will be back again!

Kind of basic in dining area but man they have an awesome pizza pasta buffet. They have fantastic crust cheese and sauce. Their cinnamon sticks were the best I’ve ever had. Impressive

Giovanni’s white pizza with ricotta was excellent, and the buffalo wings were crispy and well-seasoned. The menu offers a great mix of pizzas, subs, and classic Italian comfort food.

Went on a Wednesday for lunch buffet. Arrived at 11:15 am. Was not a single person there and nothing on the buffet. Ordered the buffet didn’t get any pizza out until 11:30. They just put a few pizzas out with very little toppings. The crust is extremely thin but soft. Definitely reminded me of CiCi Pizza. Asked if they had barbecue chicken pizza and was told yes but not on the buffet. They would do a beef barbecue pizza there was very little to no beef on it. Next customers didn’t show up till 11:50. Long story short I would definitely not show up early for the buffet and the pizza is so so. For just under $15 with a drink this day and age I guess was okay deal.

Pizza on buffet have very few toppings. Crust is good but pretty limp. Not real impressed with what you get for the money on the buffet. Reminds me a little of Ci Ci’s pizza or Mr. Gatti’s buffet.

I ordered two 16″ carryout pizzas, a deluxe with regular crust and vegetarian with thin crust. The pizza was very average and uninspired. Nothing special about the crust, cheese or sauce. You can dump all the toppings on top you want but if the three basic components are the same as everyone else’s, why bother? The boneless wings were ok but again, nothing anyone else isn’t doing and the onion rings were lightly coated and ok, but not crunchy. I didn’t have very high expectations so I guess my expectations were met. If you like a pizza buffet feeding trough, this place might be for you if you prefer quantity over quantity. It’s too bad because I hoped this new place would be doing some sort of artisan pie, but alas, they decided to go cheap and easy. But hey, in J-Town, this just might work. Good luck, but I seriously doubt this place will go the distance.

I’m picky about pizza. We had an issue but it was promptly taken care of. The pizza, was OK. Not great but OK. Right below Hometown Pizza.
The service was good. When they saw the issue, they took care of it and made the trip worth it. The replacement pizza was overcooked on one side. Not sure how that happens but it did.
