It is okay if you want to grab a quick bite off the pizza or salad bar in the early after noon. But once they start closing up for the day the service and food goes down hill fast. The food at peek times is good. The service varies from person to person depending on who is waiting on you and who is cooking. I would most likely eat here again if I was passing that way, but I would not go out of the way to eat here.

Place went downhill after name change. Came here once before and it was great. Now the prices have gone up and the standards of food and service have gone down. My wife and I waited 5 minutes just to order our drinks. This was during a time when there was only 6 other patrons. The “salad bar” was half empty while the “pizza bar” stayed empty almost our entire visit. Definitely will not be returning or recommending.

Do not waste your time or money here. Stopped in to get a bite after play practice tonight, sign out front says closes at 9, arrived at 8:11 and they were already breaking down the salad bar. There were maybe 4 partial pizzas on the buffet which were all cold and had easily been there for quite a while. When I asked the woman who waited on us if they were bringing out any fresh pizza, she looked at me like I was insane to ask for fresh food on a buffet 45 minutes before they close. On the front door was a Visa sign which to me says, we take Visa, but when we went to pay with the card, she got very rude and said they only take cash and we’d have to use their ATM which charges a $5 fee. I will not be back and strongly suggest to the owners that they improve the staff and business practices.

I had the same experience as a previous reviewer had described. The sign on their website said they close at 9pm. We arrived at 10 after 8. We were told that if we wanted anything on the buffet to just ask. I did that immediately and was told that they close at 8:30. The pizzas on the buffet were cold and hard. The salad bar dressings were unlabled so I ended up with blue cheese instead of ranch. The spaghetti was terrible and slimy. I raised my concerns with a waitress. I saw her tell one of the cooks who rolled her eyes as if I should have been happy for the crappy food and service I received after driving up from Hickory. I probably will not return after having come here for many years. Very unfortunate.

The buffet here is good, the workers friendly, and the atmosphere is family friendly. The pizza is a little greasy, but that’s part of what makes it delicious. The decor is sports oriented (team specific) but not overly so.
Overall, this place is tasty, relaxed, and affordable.

Best lasagna ever !! Plus they give you enough to be nicely full. At a very reasonable price. Only thing I didn’t like was they don’t accept debit cards. At least not while my girlfriend and I were there. Will definitely visit again when I want good food

Went there for lunch. Cash only (unusual but ok). We sat ourselves down in a booth around the corner. Waited a few minutes and we walked up to the counter to let them know that we were in a booth around the corner. In the 10-15 minutes we sat there we saw a waitress serve the people next to us, 2 other families came in after us and were attended to. Bottom line- we got up and walked out. In this day and age and with the cost of living and eating out i am not looking for aggravation while spending my money. I took the time to inform them that it was not nice to leave us sitting there without any service. I hope they get better but i think its a logistical problem. Bottom line i will not go back there.

Poor service. No refill on drinks were offered. The salad bar was not stocked or clean. The pizza buffet was sad. The floors and facility were in neglected condition. Disappointing overall considering this was a nice place to take your family twenty years ago.

Whenever we visit his Mom in Valdese we have to stop in and have the buffet lunch. The restaurant is not real fancy but the food is good and the prices are very reasonable. The staff is always friendly and treat everyone like they are a regular.
