I cold called Giovanna’s while in the area shopping for pizza. I hit them with the usual questions while pizza shopping. The guy who answered the phone responded to my questions as if I were a jerky boy trying to pull a prank.
To his surprise I arrived a brief moment after we hung up. I bought 8 individual slices and chow to dine in. The place was decorated really nicely and they had a Christmas tree! The pizza was overall good. The crust was more crispy than usual pizza but not enough to make a stink.
There were drones outside which made me extremely nervous during my entire meal.

My daughter and son in-laws “go to” gem for gatherings and pizza nights is now one of my favorites too. We decided to skip the barbecue at my home and ordered assorted sandwiches, pizza cut into appetizer squares for the “little ones”, outrageous pasta and broccoli, garlic knots with sauce and a delicious salad. Delivery was prompt and everyone loved the entire meal. I will be back again.

Very nice place. I often come here after school with my buddies, occasionally you get the rowdy middle schoolers looking to bother you cause you look different, but it’s out of the Pizza Place’s control.
-Very nice service, if a kid steals your slice, they make an extra one since you paid. Very nice boss as well. 4 stars since there is very little seating and can get very crammed in both outside and inside on a nice day after school.

Fantastic! Pizza was fresh and hot and tasted amazing. We got pepperoni and Margherita pizza. This place seems to care about all the little details, like keeping the parmesan shakers in the fridge and putting the pizzas on elevated stands so it doesn’t take up table room. The service was incredible. I went with a large group and we had planned for one person to pay for everything and we would figure it out later for paying that person back. Giovanni’s offered the option to pay individually even though we didn’t ask and even though it was more work.

I absolutely love this place. You can’t go wrong with any item on the menu. They really are exceptional and considering how low key this place is, I’m really shocked more people haven’t discovered their good eats (but glad cause you can eat in peace). I travel frequently from the Bronx just to have their specialty slices… hoping they open a branch in the 5 boroughs!
