Giovanni’s on State Street in Doylestown absolutely delivered with the NoNo’s Pizza. The crust was perfectly crisp with a light, airy chew and just the right char on the edges. The sauce tasted fresh and balanced, and the mozzarella was creamy and spot on.
We requested pesto drizzled on top (highly recommend), and it elevated the whole pie with a bright, fresh finish. I’ve ordered it again since the first time and it was just as good. Consistency matters.
If you go, get the NoNo’s and don’t forget to ask for the pesto.

This is a pizzeria. Meaning, there’s a counter to eat at but not restaurant style. Great for a quick bite and take out. Outside, they have a couple of barstool tables but weather permitting.
Service, is with a smile. Chico, owner and server. This is definitely a family run business.
We ordered, 2 regular slices, 1 Buffalo slice and 1 Sicilian slice.
The Sicilian was gummy in the middle. I understand, they make a full tray, take out to give enough time for reheating but then when you reheat, it can go either way.
The SAUCE on the regular and Sicilian was the same, bland. It was missing something, I had to add garlic on my pizza. The Buffalo slice had the heat, it just needed Blue Cheese to make it a true Buffalo Slice. Heat with a bite.
What Giovanni’s has on its side is limited options of pizzerias and that’s why they are busy. I’m hoping they will take the feedback and up their game with the taste of their food.

I’ve tried almost every pizzeria around so i was very skeptical about this one at first. i ended up getting a half pepperoni half plain pizza and a plain cheesesteak and if i could take that first bite all over again, i would. The food was phenomenal and the staff were very friendly people, especially the guy at the counter. i would recommend this place to anyone looking for a new spot to try. i’ll definitely be back here again soon

The vibe is amazing here. The workers are so energetic and are extremely helpful. Scott especially is such a great worker and is so kind. The food is absolutely exceptional and I would definitely try the rice balls if you get the chance!

I had my food delivered, and it got here quicker than expected so everything was hot and fresh. Had the cheesesteak special, Italian hoagie and stuffed roll with steak. Everything was delicious. I think it’s a little pricey, but the food was very very good. Next time I want to try the pizza

I had ordered a tuna wrap while my daughter got her standard 2 slices of pepperoni pizza. When. My food came out it was actually a tuna club. By this time, my daughter finished her slices, and I was starving, so I just ate that because I didn’t want to wait again. I didn’t realize it came with fries, or I would have passed on them. I’m not sure if this was their version of a wrap or a misunderstanding. The associate did repeat my order back to me and said wrap. Aside from the error in my order, the sandwich was good. I couldn’t even finish it all, so guess what’s for dinner. I asked my daughter the pizza lover how hers was, and she said she was so hungry that she didn’t get to enjoy to rate them properly. Aside from the other error, the place was very nice and clean. I love the huge open-air window. You could enjoy your meal inside at the counter and enjoy fresh air or sit outside at one of the hightops as we did. I would visit again.

Very very good vibes here it’s very entertaining and the staff is very nice. The food is very tasty and the prices are good for the amount of food you get and the flavor of food. Definitely a must try if your visiting around or if your just here with friends
