Nice and reasonable priced lunch. I gave 4 stars because my ziti was ordered with meat sauce and it came out with just regular pasta sauce. The server did bring me a side of meat sauce to pour on top, but the ziti wasn’t baked in the meat sauce which would have made the pasta taste a lot better.

First time at this little spot in sylacagua. Reminds me of some of the Italian spots up north. Ordered the chicken parmagean, the Alfredo fettuccine and 2 side salads. The chicken parm was really good the sauce wasn’t to much and the noodles were perfect and so was the chicken. The 2 salads were awesome especially the Caesar dressing. The Alfredo was not that good in my opinion the noodles were undercooked and real chewy and stuck to my teeth. The Alfredo sauce was a little bland and didn’t have that Italian pop with the Alfredo sauce. The bread was good. The service was great. Definitely would give it a shot if you havent.

This is a hidden treasure, Italian food is yummy , I had the lasagna, it has hamburger meat in it instead of Italian sausage. That’s a plus for me. Ceaser salad was fresh and the dressing fantastic. Chocolate cake was very rich and the portions were huge. I drive a truck, if you are in Sylacauga, it’s a great place to eat, circle k truck stop just across 280 from it. Jacey is one of the best servers I have EVER had, friendly, kind, polite and kept everything full. Definitely worth the walk across the road. Or stop eat and go, not a 10 hour break stop.

The MOST HIDDEN GEM in Sylacauga Alabama!!! The Owner is beyond wonderful!! He did not have to do 80% of the things he did while we were there .but he naturally did! The waitress as Pregnant as she was and tired was beyond top notch. She did not have to give us 150% and yet she did! This place is super clean super friendly and gracious!! The food and the restaurant deserves to be 20 stars not 5! Homemade sauces not out of a can made this meal absolutely IMPECCABLE!! CHEF’S KISS!! I CANNOT SAY ENOUGH FABULOUS WORDS ABOUT THIS MAGICAL GEM IN THIS SMALL TOWN!!

Just passing through and stopped here for dinner. Our first impression when we pulled in the parking lot wasn’t the greatest, the building looked in despair. Maybe someone ran into the building, not sure? Anyway we went inside to eat. Not a big or fancy place. Tables were covered in vinyl tablecloths and the chairs were hard black metal, not easy to sit on. Ordered the Chicken Parmesan and Shrimp Alfredo. Chicken was a small half breast sitting on spaghetti smothered in marinara sauce and cheese. Dish wasn’t that hot, lukewarm, but it was fairly good. Shrimp Alfredo was good. Lots of grilled shrimp. Their garlic bread was okay, didn’t care for the “butter sauce” on top. Overall it was okay.

First time visit. We ordered a deep dish pizza (pictured) with some wings as an appetizer. They offer complimentary garlic bread which was very tasty (and refillable). The wings weren’t as crispy as we would have liked but had a decent flavor. The deep dish pizza (not a traditional Chicago style deep dish) was cooked perfectly with the right balance of sauce, cheese and toppings.

Staff was all very friendly and attentive. Speed of service was just right, with enough time between appetizers and main course.

Will definitely be visiting again as there are many items on their menu that I want to try.

We went here after checking out an estate sale in Childersburg. I had seen the episode of Restaurant Impossible that featured this restaurant, so we decided to go here for lunch! Our server was Sydney and she was so sweet. We split a classic lasagna and a Philly cheesesteak with a side Ceasar salad, everything was delicious! Also the serving sizes are quite large! The only thing we didn’t like so much was the appetizer bread, it could’ve been toasted instead of just warmed.

Was told by a bunch of people to try out this pizza out. The chicken alfredo was amazing. I am a man with a big appetite for great food. Giovanni’s didn’t let me down either. It took around 20 minutes for our food to come out to us but it was worth the wait. This Pizza was was $20 but it could feed 3 to 4 people. I only ate 3 slices and I was stuffed. There sweet tea was great also. If I didn’t hear about it from friends that went there before I did, I would have never known it was there.

It was my first time here, it was amazing. Great place to celebrate my niece’s 13th birthday The food was great, and I’m not really a pizza person. Staff was fantastic! The restroom was nice and clean. I can’t wait to go again. I highly recommend Giovanni’s Italian Restaurant ❤️ Family Fun Friday
