I’ve passed this shop my entire life, and never went inside. After hearing many good reviews, I thought I’d drop by and pick up some bread, and man was it worth it. The service is phenomenal, the bread is baked fresh every day and tastes super delicious and has that homemade feel. This is where I will be buying my bread from now on. Couldn’t recommend more!!

PSA this bakery has disgusting working conditions. Basic necessities such as toilet paper soap and gloves are NOT provided to the employees. The owner put his hands on a former employee for smoking a cigarette OFF of the clock. Do NOT get your food from here. They are health risk/liability waiting to happen and a call will placed to the health department immediately
Seeing how I cant not reply to you’re response…. I’m sure supplying soap and gloves would fall under following health code as you say you do. Also not sure how that equal putting hands on someone for any reason.

I haven’t been to Giovannis yet, but I will definitely be a customer now. I was just on 34th street in St Petersburgh and saw the driver of one of your trucks jump out to help a man in a wheelchair cross the multi lane intersection. A true act of kindness and who I want to give my business. Thank you sir!

The owner is a real a-hole. Dismissive, rude and is running an unsanitary kitchen environment. Doors are wide open for bugs,the bread dough sits out on pan in open hot Florida heat,watched one of the employees kneading dough with bandaid on finger,no one was wearing gloves. Cheap bread but you get what you pay for.
