It’s difficult for me to eat a meatball parmigiana grinder and give it 5 stars. Today is the day I do so. Absolutely delicious!

3.7 would be official score here.. AFTER BEING A USUAL/LOCAL for over 4 years i think i can FINALLY make a fair review… Giovanni’s has a Bit of a MONOPOLY on Northford, NOT much competition in town with that i believe they may be more relaxed at times.. however they do deliver good italian foods most the time. sometimes it may seems inconsistent for example, thickness of pizza crust will vary by the day, or even the amount of sauce served with you dinner sometimes a bit on the dry side, some items feel pre made and heated as ordered, sometimes its excellent all around, like i said consistency is my ONLY gripe with giovanni’s As an Italian American that typically visits wooster st. (the best of the best) for most meals i believe giovanni’s serves food on par with typical pizza restaurants not fair to compare them against wooster st But giovanni’s is among the better places u can find outside of new haven ct.

1) INCONSISTENCIES in prep / taste
2) Delivery fee
3) Seems some items prepared in advance good but not as fresh tasting
( just my opinion ) ( unknown )

How are you going to charge us for 3 toppings? This is so skimp. There is barely any bacon at all. This place is only good every other time. It’s like it depends on who is doing the cooking. So inconsistent and a rip off now

The food was fine, but our waitress maybe came by twice unless called down. When asking someone else for help we got ignored for other customers. I’m not sure if they are just use to regulars and only treat them with respect. But I’ll never come back here again ever.

Kids menu pasta came out after everyone got their dinners.
A to go order that I ordered before we even got our dinners didn’t come out until I complained to staff.

Ordered pizza…half pepperoni half sausage. Very stingy with the toppings.

What I had , lasagna, was tasty. My wife didn’t enjoy the lobster ravioli though. But, only one visit there and was at an off hour so can’t fully review. Very reasonably priced. Pizza was very good, new haven style. Will go back.

We found a local gem last Wednesday! We were driving by and decided to stop at Giovanni’s. We ordered a large 18″ pizza with precooked bacon, black olives, mushrooms & onions. Thin and DELICIOUS.
The waitress was awesome, very attentive, and efficient.
