Had a great lunch here yesterday! Very pretty and clean restaurant with delicious bites and good service. They had a sandwich board outside that said “best meatballs in Myrtle Beach” and they’re right! It should actually say “best meatballs you’ll ever have”! We will definitely be back when we’re in the area.

As an award winning chef and food writer, Let me tell you Monse ….the Hostess at the door PHENOMENAL!!!!
The food phenomenal!!!! The server (was super friendly at the very least, she was very funny I just think she needs to focus, she’s super kind, and we genuinely liked Her a lot) but the best part of the food was the Pizza and Salads were Insanely good and Monse was so warmly welcoming she should be a server ….This young lady was beaming with positive energy and radiated interest in customer satisfaction, I don’t know where the management is or was but the food was phenomenal and I’d fast track Monse as a server and server trainer because that’s someone you should handsomely reward with every opportunity she deserves and a great career!!!! Like seriously

Excellent experience for us dining at Gios. Our server Jessica made an outstanding job and her recommendation on the meatballs and the tartuffo desert was excellent! 10 out of 10! We are definitely looking forward for the next time!

Five stars as relative to other pizza places in Myrtle Beach. If neapolitan pizza is your favorite style, you probably won’t find a better one in this area.

We ordered Forest and Mediterranean pizza. And they were both amazing. Fresh ingredients. The greens on the Forest tasted delicious. Almost tasted like it was accompanied by a side salad. The place looks very nice from inside. Lot of tables. Street parking was easy to find because we went on Monday night and there wasn’t much of a crowd. We were seated quickly. Ordered food and it didn’t take very long to come. Our server was very nice and checked on us many times. We had plenty of leftovers.

BEST MEATBALL SUB I EVER HAD!!!
Not sure what this restaurants’ secret is but I’m a native New Yorker (we’re hard to please when it comes to great taste ) and the meatballs were the best I’ve had anywhere, and I’ve been on the earth 57 years. so authentic and fresh, didn’t taste like the frozen type or fillers. Hand made as advertised!!
Keep up the good work! Btw, the pizza was NY good too!

The restaurant is spotless! Beautiful tables, napkins and dishes! The service is fantastic! Chris was our waiter the last time we were there and he did not disappoint! The best part was the food! The charcuterie is very good. The burrata was so delicious and fresh! The pizza is fabulous! The sauce is not my favorite, but good. I would love to make my sauce for them! Our dessert was a 5 star! The portions are not huge, but just enough. The ice tea is perfectly brewed. They do not provide bread with the meal, but you may ask for a serving to go with the burrata! One of my favorite restaurants in Myrtle Beach.

I typically like extra sauce on my pizza, so I ordered a side of it. But I ended up not using it.. Why does their pizza sauce taste like spaghetti sauce? It is too sweet and doesn’t fit a pizza flavor profile. Tiramisu was okay. We ordered before the other two tables around us ordered, and they all received their food first. One table was completely finished eating before we even got our food. All tables ordered pizza. Don’t know what the issue was. Our server was nice, but we wouldn’t be in a rush to revisit.

Stopped here for lunch on a whim and I’m so happy I did! We were planning on just getting a pizza but the Italian wedding soup was suggested as the soup of the day so of course we had to try it. It was delicious! Loaded with meatballs/sausage and pastina. The broth was on point! We opted for the white pizza with Ricotta – also delicious! The crust was perfect and the cheese was ample. The restaurant is beautiful, clean and welcoming. Our server, Jessica, was attentive and seemed happy to be there. I’ll definitely be going back to try different pizzas and to get another cup of their Italian Wedding Soup!

Wanted to try a new pizza place tonight and Gio’s was it. It’s located in Market Common so parking is what it is. Walked in and it is well lit and lots of seating. Small bar with plenty of seating and 4 tvs for games. This is not a traditional pizza, beer and a game place. It’s more upscale but you can come as you are with no real dress code that I was aware of. Service was prompt and very efficient. The have apps, pizza (no Italian entrees since there is an Italian place right across the street) and desserts as well as an extensive wine list, beers, soft drinks and coffees!
The Italian wedding soup was good. The cup portion size was just right. My wife had the Forest personal pizza and I had the Bianca (white pizza). We both ordered the personal size pizzas, 4 slices but we turned them into 8 smaller slices and took some home. The take home box was nice and study as well. The pizza dough was fresh and the ingredients were top notch. We would definitely go there again and just have coffee and desserts!
Best of luck to you all at Gio’s since this is a brand new pizzeria.
