Reservations are recommended as this place gets super packed unless you’re alright sitting in the bar area with higher seats/tables. I attempted to make a reservation but it was difficult to do so online. Perhaps calling would have been more fruitful. I had the lobster con aragosta and my husband had a seafood pasta in which I cannot remember the name at the moment. The quality of the food was delicious and my husband said that the amount of seafood in his dish was amazing. Our server was super friendly and prompt. We were visiting out of state and this was a perfect spot for a bit of a romantic experience.

BEST Italian restaurant ever! My family and I came here for vacation and were looking for a place to eat. We saw this Italian restaurant while driving by and decided to head there for dinner, best decision. The food was phenomenal!! Our server was amazing and told us about the food and what the plates of the day were, overall had a fun experience. Can’t wait to come back to this place!!

Writing this review from the restaurant because I couldn’t wait to speak praise. Hands down the best restaurant I’ve been to, italian or not. Sarah, our server, was immediately welcoming, extremely professional, and intimately knowledgeable of their menu, with quick attention. The most impressive service I’ve ever received and ensured we will return. Especially with a large party of eight, including kids, she handled it with grace. The food came out in seemingly multiple courses, each more pleasing than the last. The bread was fresh and hot, the soup was incredible, and our entrees were all impressive and delicious. We seriously cannot speak enough about what a memorable experience we had here. We’re only here on vacation, but we will be spending one of our limited days here to come back and enjoy this place again. Thank you for the wonderful evening!

The food here is great, but we came here at a bad time when the owner and manager were on vacation. However the food was absolutely delicious and was freshly prepared and cooked. The portions sizes for the food are on par with most Italian restaurants. We came from out of town to visit here and once we started eating we knew it this was a great place to eat. They seemed a little understaffed, but that is normal for restaurants these days, so the waiting was longer than usual and each waiter had a ton of tables to serve customers. My suggestion is to make reservations online before you come to dine here to avoid confusion of when you will be seated.

Tonight we went to Gios for the first time to celebrate our 5 year anniversary. Gios did such a great job with the way they presented everything and the staff was terrific! We are from new York so we were nervous to try Italian food anywhere else but they exceeded our expectations! The food was fantastic and we will definitely be back.

The food at Gios is excellent quality, and of the caliber found at Italian American restaurants throughout New York and New Jersey. We enjoyed the seafood risotto, chicken parm, and linguine with scallops. Be advised the meal is long, which is good and bad. Separate courses for soup are salad enhance and elongate the experience. Gios could use some additional staff— the waitstaff and hostess both seemed to be stretched far too thin and were borderline frantic at times. But altogether a great experience.

My friend and I had a nice dinner here. We were able to snag a table in the bar area with no reservations at high dinner hour. We started with calamari and it was EXCELLENT!!!!. It had a yum yum sauce drizzle but it was lightly fried, delicate and so tender. Among the best calamari in Myrtle Beach! I appreciated the freshness of the salad ingredients though that dressing wasn’t my favorite. I plan to ask for some parm next time to help it along. I ordered lasagna. Usually restaurant lasagnas are duds for me, though I keep trying. Again I was surprised and the lasagna here is WORTHY. I would for sure recommend it and order it again. My friend loved her lobster filled ravioli. It’s very nicely done but I spent most of my time wondering what restaurant used to be at this location. It just had that vibe….We had a nice server, a bit on the quirky side, but very friendly.

Not well advertised, but very much a hidden gem in Myrtle Beach. Food was well prepared and tasted great. The entire table seemed to enjoy their meals. Service got a little slow towards the end of the meal but was still good overall. Definitely worth a visit

First time at this authentic Italian restaurant. Food was excellent with nice atmosphere and friendly staff. Would definitely recommend. Veal marsalla came out piping hot and delicious.
