What a gem! The staff is super welcoming and hospitable. Tonight there was entertainment, an accordion player which added a special touch to an already authentic atmosphere. In addition to the dining area there is a fully stocked Italian deli and bakery area with freshly prepared on premises. We had the sausage and rapini for an appetizer. That was magical. Then we had a pizza which was also good. At the tables around us we ogled the portions of pasta and the diners praising how delicious each dish was. So I imagine we couldn’t go wrong with anything on the menu. We brought our dessert home – the rum baba’ and graffe (a special dessert made to order). The perfume permitted the car. The softness of the baba and the citrus essence in the graffe left me wanting more. Highly recommend Gio’s!

Wow! How have I missed Gio’s Deli? Went to lunch today. Lela gave us her suggestions as first time customers. She was super helpful and attentive. We got the Chicken Caesar Salad and the special, the Philly Cheesesteak sandwich with pasta salad.
My salad was wonderful. The sandwich and pasta salad were some of the best ever. The food filled us for the rest of the day. But, we did get 2 cannolis just in case. Next time we plan to try the thin crust pizza. Tomorrow??

We have been eating here for years. Some of the best food anywhere in the Villages. Great Italian atmosphere and food. They bring a lot in from Italy. I can strongly recommend any of their salads, sandwiches, French fries and pizza. If you are near by stop in you will NOT be disappointed.

Gio’s is not just a restaurant, it’s an experience. The food is great, the service is top notch and consistent, and the atmosphere is Authentic. Its family owned, managed and serviced. Its for people willing to wait a little longer to experience being part of the family. Make reservations early or expect to wait. Parties of 4 or less are suggested because not many large tables in the restaurant. Come hungry,leave with leftovers and a warm heart. Go again and again, order different each visit. Now your family!

This place is great! Delicious, authentic Italian meals and deli and super friendly staff combine to make this place special.
I’ve stopped in here a few times for lunch with some friends and each time we’ve had a great experience. The stuffed meatball is outstanding and I can personally vouch for the chicken Parm as well.
Portion sizes are generous and the prices are reasonable – you need to give this place a shot. I don’t think you’ll be disappointed!

We finally tried Gio’s. We were not disappointed. The atmosphere is wonderful, food is fantastic and the staff is very helpful and friendly. We will definitely be back to try more scrumptious food.

Everything is great about this place…they have the very very best pizza.
If you’re gluten free/friendly, don’t hesitate to order the cauliflower crust pizza it is absolutely delicious.
The salads are amazing too. Fun quirky atmosphere…awesome desserts.

Great place for a meal!! Been here twice both were awesome. Our last waitress was great she could sell ice to an Eskimo. I got the short rib ragu this time. EXCELLENT!!!

Gio’s is our favorite Italian deli and restaurant! I love getting there right at 10AM, opening time, when they have just taken the sfogliatellas out of the oven, and they’re still warm. O, be still, my beating heart!! Their cakes are SUPER delicious, too!!
One of our favorite things are their freshly-fried zucchini fries, dipped in a light batter, deep-fried, & sprinkled with
Parmesan cheese. You dip the zucchini fries in marinara sauce, & wow! So very delicious!!
You can buy freshly-made pizza slices. Their pizza is so delicious! My friends and I did a pizza taste test of 3 different area restaurants, and Gio’s won!
You’ll also enjoy all kinds of ingredients for any kind of Italian cuisine. Breads, meats, cheeses, olives, pasta, seasonings, etc., etc.
Of course, you can also come in for a sit-down meal. Gio’s has a cozy, bustling, friendly atmosphere. The locals swarm to this deli & restaurant.
If you like Italian food or think you’d like to try some, make sure to stop by Gio’s!! It is DEFINITELY one of our go-to restaurants!!!

My bestie & I ate dinner here tonight. She got regular pizza while I ordered cauliflower crust pizza with chicken. They were both delicious. I loved my pizza! And I discovered a brand-new Manhattan beverage treat they carry–coffee soda. I got the diet version. Only 1 carb! They sell out quickly, our great waiter, Gio, told us. He’s Gio’s son, he said.
We also had an extra treat this evening–live music. A delightful husband-wife duo, it appeared. She played a beautiful red accordion while he played guitar. Their music was so lovely, in the background but just enough to pervade every corner of the restaurant.

Stopped in for lunch when travelling and was pleasantly surprised. Great food, amazing service and nice local family owned atmosphere. Grouper sandwich was 10/10. Definitely going to make it a permanent stop if we ever find ourselves in the area.
