If you’re in Chicago, trying deep-dish pizza is a must and this place does it right! The deep-dish pizza here is absolutely amazing, with a perfectly crisp, buttery crust, rich tomato sauce, and generous layers of gooey cheese. Just be aware that deep-dish pizza takes longer to cook, so I highly recommend calling ahead to place your order and making a reservation in advance, as this spot gets busy.
Beyond the pizza, the appetizers are just as impressive. Everything is well-prepared, and the dips are packed with flavor, making them the perfect start to your meal. The staff is friendly and attentive, and the atmosphere is warm and welcoming, creating a great dining experience from start to finish.

Severely Disappointed – Quality Has Plummeted
My family and I have been loyal Giordano’s customers for years, and this Oswego location used to be our go-to spot. Unfortunately, something has gone seriously wrong over the past 6-8 months, and I’m not sure we’ll be returning anytime soon.
We’ve ordered a ton deep dish pizzas from this location during this period, and it’s a crap shoot if you’re gonna get a good one or a bad one. Today’s pizza was the final straw, as you can see burnt bacon scattered on top (shouldn’t it be inside the deep dish?) , a soggy, wet interior that clearly wasn’t cooked long enough, and a completely wet undercarriage. The dough was still soft and unfinished. You can see the pool of liquid/grease in the picture.
For pizzas that cost $30-50 each, this is absolutely unacceptable, especially in today’s economy, and receiving this quality is genuinely disheartening.
I suspect there’s been a change in ownership or management because the decline in quality has been dramatic and consistent. It’s particularly frustrating because we know Giordano’s can make excellent pizza – the city locations still deliver the quality we expect.
Until this location gets back to its former standards, we’ll have to drive to Chicago for our Giordano’s fix. Such a shame to see a once-reliable favorite fall so far.
Would not recommend this location until they address these serious quality control issues.

My family and I went to eat here for an early dinner on Saturday and at first, everything was great. Appetizers and drinks came out quickly and our server was really nice. However, the wait for our pizza was crazy long. We were really patient and really didn’t mind waiting, but we did witness others walking out because the food took so long to come out. There weren’t even that many people dining in so we really didn’t know why pizzas were taking so long to come out. The food itself was fine, but to add insult to injury, we were charged twice for our food that took around 2 hours to come out. We paid once through the portable device they provided and after part of my family had already left, I was told the payment hadn’t gone through and that I had to pay again. We later found out that we were charged twice for the same meal. I think it goes without saying that we will not be returning to dine in or to carry out.

Slow service and awful pizza. I mean truly awful. I remember a few months ago I ordered from Dominos and the manager re-made the pizza (without me asking) because it had too many bubbles on it when he checked it upon pickup. I went to Giordanos and ordered a new tavern style and the whole thing was bubbles and tasteless. Just a funny moment that fast food pizza has higher standards than this place. Definitely avoid.

Friday night and only about 6 tables in the whole place, short servers and waited a while. Food was good, not great, tried new pub style thin and crispy. 2 of them, one pepperoni and one sausage. Very light on toppings and sauce, Pizza was a little undercooked and chewy not crispy.
Everyone said it had a funky flavor to the crust. Pizza is very personal to everyone, we will stick with our go to places for consistency. Not bad, just ok.

My wife and myself had never eaten a true Chicago deepdish. And we are eaters so we drove to Illinois and thank you Jesus we did. Hands down the best experience all together. Fabulous 10 stars we have plans to be back there in 2 weeks

Ordered takeout. Haven’t been here in years but was pleasantly surprised. Take out packaging was excellent. Food was hot and fresh. We had a chicken parm and Italian beef. Both are solid entrees. Chicken parm bread could’ve been a little toastier. 7.5/10 overall meal

I tried Giordano’s on a recent trip to Plainfield area. I have to say this is one of the best pizza places in the area. Service was quick and pizza was ready on time. The prices were a little higher compared to some other pizza places in the area, but the quality was much greater. I tried both the thin crust and the deep dish. The cheese and toppings on both were a generous amount, the sauce had a rich flavour and was seasoned well. The think crust was excellent nice buttery/crispy taste. The deep dish crust was also good, however it was a little soggy in the centre. Overall great pizzas, great taste, would definitely recommend you try them out if you’re looking for a new pizza to try.

Took the family for dinner classic Chicago deep fish pizza and as always it was delicious service was on point have to admit the beer is getting pricey but either way will continue to go and get our deep dish pizza fix.
