We really had a craving for pizza but are always looking out of the box of what we can find at home. We’ve never had a Chicago deep dish pizza before and found this advertised in our resort we were staying in and decided to give it a go. Starting with the gentleman who took our order over the phone had a fun and upbeat personality and was super nice. We took the pizza to go once we got there but the staff inside were very nice as well. The pizza was nice and crispy and even after driving back to the hotel it stayed warm and crispy.

Nicole at Giordano’s was amazing! She was so attentive and made sure I had everything I needed the whole time. The food was incredible too — I had the chicken Alfredo broccoli pasta, the mozzarella triangles, and the salted caramel cookie, and everything was delicious. Great service and great food!

This was our first time here, and it was BEYOND AMAZING!!!!! Staff was phenomenal and the food was a 10/10. I had the personal Chicago style deep dish pizza, and my wife had the Chicken parmesan with a side order of spaghetti. Probably the BEST deep dish pizza I have ever had. We will definitely be back. HIGHLY recommend!

Cool vibe with that classic Chicago feel. The deep dish was tasty enough if you’re craving the style, but it came out a bit doughy in the middle and super greasy overall—like a real grease bomb.
The pepperoni one we got was $28, which felt high for what it was. Two people can definitely split a personal size and still be full; the 10” would easily feed three.
If you’re a big deep dish fan, you might enjoy it despite the doughiness and grease. If you’re in a hurry to eat, order an app. Takes 40-50 mins to cook the pizza. Otherwise, the price and heaviness might disappoint.

First time at this yummy pizza spot and definitely did not disappoint! Our server (dont remember her name but she’s a jersey girl) was a delight. She wasn’t over the top, no fake feel, very knowledgeable and just all around great to have at our table side. The food was great! We had the deep dish meat pizza and definitely was a first deep dish like that. If you’re in this area and want a tasty deep dish and bruschetta definitely give this place a go.

Giordano’s has been serving Chicago-style deep-dish pizza since 1974, when Italian brothers Joseph and Efren Boglio brought their mother’s Easter pizza pie recipe from Turin to the Windy City. Nearly five decades later, it’s become a Chicago pizza institution that locals swear by and tourists seek out.

What sets Giordano’s apart is their stuffed approach. Instead of a single thick crust, they use two layers of flaky, buttery dough that sandwich Wisconsin mozzarella and your toppings, then finish it with their signature tomato sauce on top. It takes about 45 minutes to bake, but the wait is worth it. The crust comes out golden-brown and crispy while staying tender inside, and the cheese pull is legendary.

The quality of ingredients really shows. Their mozzarella comes from Wisconsin cheesemakers and is shredded fresh daily. The tomato sauce uses hand-picked tomatoes from Mendocino County in Northern California. Even their flour comes from a single Minnesota mill using a proprietary wheat blend. These details matter with every bite.

For those not wanting to wait 45 minutes, they also offer traditional thin crust and tavern-style pizzas, both cut into classic Chicago squares and ready in about 35 minutes.

Vegetarians have solid options here. The Fresh Spinach Pizza keeps it simple, while the Vegetarian Special loads on mushrooms, green peppers, onions, broccoli, black olives, and spinach. The Margherita features fresh mozzarella, house-made pesto, and basil, and the Mushroom & Spinach Alfredo brings sautéed mushrooms, spinach, creamy alfredo, garlic chips, and parmesan. You can also build your own with toppings like artichokes, banana peppers, olives, garlic, jalapeños, mushrooms, onions, pineapple, spinach, tomatoes, and ricotta. All options work with any crust style.

Beyond pizza, there are salads, Fettuccine Alfredo, Spaghetti with marinara, garlic bread, and fried mozzarella triangles.

The atmosphere is cozy and casual, perfect for families or a relaxed dinner. Service is friendly and helpful, though peak hours bring serious wait times. The pizzas are enormous: a small feeds two to three people easily. Prices run fifteen to twenty-five dollars for specialty pizzas depending on size and location, but portions justify the cost.

Giordano’s delivers authentic Chicago deep-dish pizza made with quality ingredients and traditional techniques. Yes, you’ll wait. Yes, you’ll need a nap afterward. But that first bite of cheese-laden, perfectly baked pizza makes it worthwhile. Vegetarians have real options, not just afterthoughts. Come hungry, bring friends, and don’t rush it. Good deep dish takes time, and Giordano’s has been perfecting theirs for half a century.

Delivery took about 1:30 and it’s only a 7 minute drive from our place. It was a Saturday night so most likely busy. The pizza was not great at all. They put all the seasonings and sauce on one side, like you see in the picture. The flavor was not great, specially those slices that taste like seasoning only. Most likely because they were busy they tried to make the pizza quickly, which still took a very long time and the quality was not there. The tavern style cheese pizza even had worse flavor. The wings and ranch were good. Overall, we will not order from here again. It was very expensive and the quality is not great.

I haven’t been to the other Giordanos in the area but this one is great with great customer service. The quality is just as good as it is in Chicago. One large deep dish will feed a family of 5. We got an extra medium and were all able to have a slice the next day.

Got a deep dish. As always lol
When ordering online it said 75 to 85 mins. We’ve had this many times before and can take 45 mins to an hour to cook. So when I seen that time frame I had thought it was because they were busy.
When we got there to pick up we were told that it had been sitting for an hour.
? What why? So it was good but you could tell our $40ish pizza had been sitting. The guy there said he didn’t know why it said it would take that long. We didn’t either but went with it. Never got anything saying it was ready earlier. We just went with what it told us and arrived on time for it. I’m guessing a glitch somewhere. It was unfortunate but couldn’t wait 45mins for a Remake. Not that that was offered but… yea
