I decided to visit today again this beautiful restaurant. I really loved the great music option. I do believe it’s from the 80s. As usual, everyone is nice and there for you to have a great experience. Today I tried squid with beans, potatoes, and tomatoes- it’s a very delicious choice for your appetizer. Again I have decided to try the pizza, but this time I have chosen Margherita pizza. This place has a healthy option for unsweetened iced tea.
It’s a very good place to visit for dinner after work and have a glass of wine.

Lovely little place! Clean, average service, limited seating areas but ample seating available (came on a Friday night). I got the trofalini pizzette (love truffle anything) and my partner got the scamorza. Both were delicious, filling, and finished then and there. Easy to get to via HB light rail. Busy street so not much parking.

Reviews are accurate! Meatballs are amazing. Pizzas are fantastic. Definitely recommend. The only concern I had is that the doors were open when the weather was 85 degrees and I was really hot while eating my meal, would have preferred the A/C running.

This place is a wonderful addition to the Port Imperial community. While it was a bit short staffed, all of the waiters and food runners were friendly and efficient! Now the food…WOW! The pizzas taste like a home-made pie and the meatballs are dynamite! Both my husband and I got chicken dishes which were also excellent. I’m excited to go back and try their pastas—all are home-made. We live close by and the restaurant is always packed so best to make a reservation.

Poor service- We got seated at 8, ordered 8:10 latest, and started to have the first pizza 8:55. Kindly and politely reminded the waitress about the time after 40 minutes of ordering. But got very cold response. She responded with an attitude and said “I have sent the order to kitchen. Nothing I can do.” – with a very annoying tone. Seriously? That’s not what we expected from a normal waiter. You can at least apology and comfort us for waiting 40 minutes, right?? Again after the dishes came, she served with an temper. Like it was our fault and we should have never complained.
Pizza is fine but the two pastas were not as expected. Meatballs cold in middle and the other one just tasted regular. Won’t come back because of the service.

Not quite ready to give it five stars…
Food is absolutely amazing. We had: rice balls and meatballs for apps. The mushroom pizza and basil pesto pasta as an entree. One alcoholic drink. After tax/tip it was $100.
So why not 5 stars? The service gets an incomplete. It was slow. This place just opened a few weeks ago. The owner seated us and was very transparent and nice when he explained they just opened up. Between the labor shortage, and the general difficulty of opening a restaurant, they are still ironing out best operating practices. It would be wrong to judge the service, but they got the food right for sure. I am grateful to have a good new spot on the neighborhood.
I’ll be going back, and “eventually” I think they’ll get the service part right, but fair warning, it was slow, just patently unfair to judge them for it.

Worst food experience ever. I’ve never felt so compelled to write a review before. In fact, this is my first review I’ve posted on Google. My husband and I came here for a nice dinner to wind down from work on a Thursday night. We had a simple order of 2 cocktails, calamari and two pizzas. We ordered everything together bc we noticed other customers being disgruntled due to the long wait.
We are pretty forgiving people, and we understand that the restaurant business is tough, especially when you’re a new establishment.
However, it took an entire hour for our calamari to come out. And we waited for another hour for our pizza.. which ultimately never came out. Parties that were seated well after us were getting their food, and even they were displeased with the slow service. We kindly asked for the check at this point since we have been waiting for 2 hours for two pizzas. To our disbelief, it took the staff an additional 30 minutes to give us the check. And we had to ask 3 different people for it.
For the entire 2 and a half hours we waited, not once did a waiter check on us, ask if we wanted more drinks or have the courtesy to apologize for the ridiculous wait. I even felt like they were avoiding us.
I believe in second chances, but I do not think I will give this restaurant another go. I wish them luck in finding their footing in the industry.

Carlos the manager/waiter lied to our faces that the pasta is freshly made at the premises, when I asked to see a sheet of fresh pasta, he said the owner won’t allow it. Only three people work in this restaurant. We were fine with everything until he started lying about everything we asked for. I used to love this place. The ownership has changed. And the lying Carlo’s said the new owners name is Jerry. He wouldn’t tell me the last name of Jerry.
Mr. Jerry: i am sad to say but if you have this man running your restaurant, you won’t be in business too long. He lied to us. He brought out fusilli and rigatoni pasta instead of what was advertised in your menu. And he had the audacity to say the pasta ingredients are all the same and the shape is just different. I should be refunded for this terrible experience tonight.

Great food! Took my little one and enjoyed gnocchi and a small pie. I’ve been living in the area for a while and we needed a place like this! Always trying new places in N NJ, I think we need to ground ourselves and understand that this is a new place, growing pains will happen. This team will figure it out soon and be consistent. New place, solid food, warming atmosphere. Excited to see your growth.
