The food is always good here. We had a farfalle dish with butternut squash and lump crab meat and Gio scampi. Both were excellent! We had Pistachio Creme Brulee for dessert. The service was very good also. Great place to go for a meal!

As a former NY’er it’s not easy finding good delicious pizza in the Lehigh Valley area. I must admit Gio Italian Grill is a must for anyone looking for anything close to NY style flavor pizza – freshly made. Service was exceptional as well. Highly recommend!!!

Very good margherita pizza. So tasty sauce, you can taste that tomatoes are not regular but special.
Mozz sticks were so thick, a little too much breadcrumbs for me and mozzarela cheese could be a little more delicate and melty.

A nice Italian restaurant/grille that’s actually open on Mondays. We went for dinner and were seated right away. Service was good for the most part. The pasta was great, and I hear their pizza is real good. So I’ll probably be back for the latter.

Update:
I took my wife here for a nice Friday lunch date. She had the Gio salad and I had the chicken parmesan panini.
I was worried the chicken parmesan would be too heavy for lunch but the bread is very light and the chicken is thin and delicious. She love the salad.
I upgraded my side to broccoli rabe. Extremely garlicky. A little too oily but still delicious.
Great place for a lunch date.
Great atmosphere and delicious pizza. The eggplant appetizer is a hidden gem. I could just go for that and a Peroni and be happy.
My son loves the guy making the pizza. He’s very fun and the staff is attentive and friendly.

Came on a Saturday afternoon, place was empty except for us and another couple. Food came out very fast and super hot, which was great because we were starving. The kid’s Margherita pizza was delicious, crust was perfectly thin and sauce had good flavor. The kid’s chicken strips and fries were good too-its a breaded chicken cutlet cut up (some kids can get picky). We started with the calamari which was just okay, not spectacular but not horrible either but wasnt a big portion either. Hubby got the Veal saltimbocca which he said was okay, couldnt give me specifics on why it wasnt good or bad. I got the beef tips pasta with the gorgonzola sauce and it was out of this world. Service was great, attentive but not overbearing. Would come again

We had dinner at Gio’s with my family Friday evening and it was amazing. The food was prepared perfectly and the service was exceptional. I enjoyed the Terra & Mare while my Brother In-Law had the Parmigiana. Both dishes were delicious. The other six family members had wonderful dishes as well. Thank you for the outstanding quality by Gio himself.

Decided to stop in for an early dinner. Nice restaurant with a bar with seating and a comfortable dining room with nice tables and booths. Service was friendly and fast and portions were filling. We tried the Gio scampi, and the chicken francese and the meals came with pasta and side salads and bread. The meal was tasty and enjoyable.
