The menu offers a wide variety of choices, from sushi and sashimi to hot Japanese dishes like teriyaki, tempura, ramen, and udon. The fish was extremely fresh and beautifully presented — every bite was delicious. The rolls were creative and flavorful, and the portion sizes were just right.
The atmosphere of the restaurant is also very nice — clean, comfortable, and perfect whether you’re coming for a casual lunch or a nice dinner with friends or family. The service was excellent as well — the staff was friendly, attentive, and polite, making sure we had everything we needed throughout the meal.
Overall, Ginza Japanese Cuisine is a fantastic spot for anyone looking to enjoy great Japanese food in Bloomfield. Whether you are a sushi lover or want to try a variety of Japanese dishes, you will not be disappointed. I will definitely be coming back soon and highly recommend this place to others!
We enjoyed our food.
Sweet and sour salmon- 4/5( was a little sweet but good)
Angry dragon roll-5/5( loved it)
Veggie roll-5/5(loved it)
Tuna dumplings-4/5( liked it but difficult to eat. Suggestion don’t order this on your first date )
I had my first sushi from this place. I like almost all kind of them, I never thought I would like raw meat but as a newbie to japanese cuisine,it isn’t as bad as it sounds! The avacado salad is also good and even the other noodles!
My go to sushi place and love their spicy mayo so much as that’s what makes it the best!
The location is PERFECT and once you’ve experienced the new location and all it has to offer, like us, you’ll realize it was essential to move from the former location. It’s a HUGE revitalization and breathes new life into their genius.
We’ve gone twice already. Once for takeout (shrimp shumai and 2 sushi rolls). Shrimp shumai was even better than we remembered. For the roll, I wasn’t quite sure how I felt about the cucumber still having the the outer skin on it and being part of the roll. One of us liked it the other was not yet sure. The service was excellent when we went to order for takeout. They said 10 minutes and it was ready in a little less. Completely reasonably priced for 2 rolls and an appetizer.
Also went again 2 days ago in the evening after 7. Once again, ambiance, service and food were exceptional. We had the seasoned edamame (which you’d think other places could do well BUT DON’T!, only Ginza does!), the pumpkin appetizer (that were like donuts, as well as the fried gyoza. For the latter, there wasnt enough sauce, but we made do. For our main course, one of us had the eggplant stir fry with vegetable fried rice. The eggplant was ASTONISHING. A little crispy on the outside and perfect on the inside. The rice was a little bland, but coupled with the eggplant paired well. The others in the party had sushi and there were many happy sounds of ‘Mmmmm’ as though we’d been reunited with a good friend who’d gone away for a little while. Note: they no longer have the hibachi areas (which were no great loss for us. They do still have hibachi on the menu though.)
Their private room is sizeable and very inviting. It may be able to hold at least 20 people or more. Added pics I took of the establishment. The bar area is STELLAR and a HUGE upgrade from the former location. All in all a classy dining experience with THE BEST SUSHI, ever! Welcome back Ginza!
Not just sushi, restaurants also provide various authentic asian food and drinks.
