Just moved back up to this part of town a couple weeks ago and after a long day of moving and an empty fridge everything was closing but saw Ginza was open till 11. I always like trying new spots so decided to go with my brother here.
They’ve got a pretty extensive menu. We ended up going with the A5 skewers (forgot to take a picture got too excited) the west world roll, and chicken katsu curry.
I actually ended up coming back a week later because the first experience was so good. I can’t remember the first servers name but she was awesome and gave us some really good recommendations which we ended up trying the second time.
Didn’t take any pictures the second time but tried the sashimi and the truffle New York strip. The quality here is phenomenal. The fish, the steak, the curry, everything I’ve tried has been top tier.
The second time we had Naomi and she not only gave more good recommendations, she’s hilarious. I’ll definitely be back to try some other stuff soon.

A cozy environment here, with great service. The food was all delicious, if a little expensive. This is a particularly good restaurant for conversation; the booths have good dividers and the lighting is nice. They have a cool private party room on the side, and a bar in the middle/back of the main dining room. One guy complained about the music but what they were playing on September 28th, 2025 sounded good to me.
The highlights of this visit for me was the Bluefin tuna nigiri, offered in three types of fat levels, and the pork katsu – an ultimate comfort food. It was also fun when we realized a rocket launch was streaking through the sky and our server joined us in running out to take in the spectacle.
It’s a classy Japanese spot, very convenient to have on this side of town. I look forward to my next visit.

Ginza get’s my vote as the best Japanese restaurant in town. The place was ¾ full when 4 of us came in for dinner at 6:30pm last night. We were greeted & seated right away. Our server, Naomi, was super friendly & professional. She immediately brought water with lemons, & we ordered some appetizers. A few different skewers started us off, including A5 wagyu beef, & yummy unagi. we also enjoyed tempura fried mushrooms, some fried oysters, & on the cold app side, we had tuna carpaccio, & hamachi jalepeno plates. Without going into too much detail, I can say that every single item we ordered was beautifully prepared, presented, & promptly devoured. To keep the flow going, we ordered more dishes as our appetizers started arriving. The salmon skin salad, & the avocado salad followed. Both dishes were good, but the salmon skin wasn’t quite crispy enough for me. Next to arrive was the large nigiri selection. This plate included a nice array of the standards, ahi, salmin yellowtail, whitefish, as well as a salmon egg nigiri, & the sweet egg nigiri. If you don’t care for these two items, as I don’t, just ask them to leave them off. We also ordered the sashimi 6 kinds, & I have nothing but high praise for the wonderful presence & flavor of these tasty morsels. Of note is the fresh clean flavor of all of the fish on all of these plates. The white mackerel is my personal favorite, it’s absolutely fantastic. Everyone raved about the salmon & tuna as well. However, the Otoro sashimi was the star of the show. It’s the priciest of the 3 ala carte toro options, & it’s easy to see why. We ordered another, after the first order was snapped up quickly. By now, as you might imagine, we were feeling full, but not overly so. We split an order of coconut ice cream, which was presented in a baby coconut shell complete with tender baby coconut meat inside.

Beautiful place with quality service and the best Japanese food on this side of town by a mile. Sushi was delicious and quality. Presentation was top notch and rice ratio was premium. Highlights were the toro roll and uni, but the drinks were delicious too. Get yourself there, you won’t be disappointed

We were really surprised with the quality of our dinner here. We would have been sooner if we’d known how great the food was! The sweet and sour eggplant was SO good. Sushi excellent. Loved our miso and tempura. Eat at the bar and you’ll get free edamame. Service was superb. It’s going to be a new neighborhood favorite!

We had a birthday party for our kid here with about 16 people, and everything was so good! We ordered wagyu, seafood, hot pot, and grilled skewers—everything was super fresh and tasty. The wagyu was so tender, and the seafood was really fresh. Everyone had a great time, and our kid had an awesome birthday. Definitely coming back next time. Highly recommend!

I think it’s safe to say that several folks living in Skye Canyon and surrounding areas were often wondering, “When is that new Japanese restaurant going to open…it seems to be in construction for way too long.” Or perhaps I was the only one wondering that. As with any new restaurants, I am never the first person during a Grand Opening. In fact, I don’t typically visit any business in the first couple months so they can work out any identified flaws – plus, I know I’ll get to it at some point especially if it’s written down on my “must-try” list. Regardless, the time had arrived and my family and I tried this restaurant in the late dinner hours on 29 May 2025.
It was a little weird walking up to the restaurant because the windows were so dark that it felt like the restaurant wasn’t even open, even though we knew it was open. I suspect that the dark windows help to maintain the restaurant’s dark ambiance and keep it cool from the Las Vegas summer months, based on where the windows were positioned. When we walked in, we were greeted right away and escorted to our table – I was pleased that the restaurant wasn’t full (probably since we were eating a late dinner). We were sitting in one of their booths and immediately, I noticed how narrow the opening was getting in and out of the booth seating. Although it wasn’t an issue for us, I can see how other folks that require that “additional space” would have difficulties getting in those seats. Therefore, if you’re one of those folks that don’t often participate in (public) elevated heart rate activities, I highly recommend you request a regular table; not a booth.
The service was impeccable; our main server was highly attentive, friendly, and operated very efficiently. I didn’t retrieve her name to recognize on this review; however, on the receipt, it shows the name, “Yenny.” Note: Oftentimes, the name on the receipt isn’t necessarily your server. Regardless, I was impressed with the entire restaurant staff with respect to service. The restaurant’s décor and overall atmosphere was nice. The interior was on the darker side which contributes to the fine(r) dining experience (even though it’s a casual spot for customers). I did notice a few things that weren’t finished in the restaurant (e.g., opening in the men’s bathroom ceiling – probably suited for a bathroom fan/vent; also exposed ceiling wires in the hallway towards the bathrooms – I’m guessing this is for a surveillance camera). It was shocking to see this considering how long it took to open this restaurant…but oh well.
We ordered the Sayonara Samurai Cocktail, Kim Crawford Sauvignon Blanc, and Melon Cream Soda for our drinks; Gyoza, Vegetable Tempura, and Lobster Tempura for our appetizers; Chicken Katsu Curry, ISEebi Chili, Spicy Chicken, Kushi Shishito Peppers, Kushi Chicken Wings, Miso Soup and Chashu Pork Bao Bun for our main entrées and sides, respectively; and Honey Toast with Vanilla and Green Tea Mix Ice Cream for our dessert. The star performers were: Curry (not the Chicken Katsu part), Miso Soup, Shishito Peppers, Chicken Wings, Gyoza, and Honey Toast. Whereas, both tempura entrées; along with the Chicken Katsu, Bao Bun, ISEebi Chili, and Spicy Chicken were good; not great. The chicken in the Spicy Chicken entrée was cooked too long (it was kind of tough), and the ISEebi Chili just didn’t “Wow” me for the price. Also, I was surprised that rice wasn’t served with our entrées.
The price-to-quantity/quality ratio was adequate – it’s definitely not a cheap family dinner if you’re on a tight budget. With tax, our entire bill came out to $160…but a lot of it was my doing because I wanted to try several things for our initial visit. Overall, I loved my first time here, as depicted in my 5-star rating. It wasn’t a true 5-star across the board since I had to mark down the food category for the issues/concerns I mentioned earlier, but a “rounded-up” 5-star nonetheless. I highly recommend this restaurant to everyone.

This Japanese restaurant is perhaps one of the best in the area. The food is excellent and tastes authentic. I enjoyed the sukiyaki, which should be highlighted more on the menu (my opinion). I will try their chef’s special on my next visit. Service needs a bit of work, but a few training sessions would take care of that.

An amazing Japanese restaurant that not only offers a wide variety of options, but executes every dish flawlessly. The service was wonderful, charismatic, and makes you feel just like you’re at home. If you ever have the chance to go, I’d highly recommend their nigiri selection; As the flavor from each piece will stay etched in my mind long after this visit. Props to the kinder older lady serving our table, you absolutely made my night 🙂
