Social Profile:

We are a Japanese Izakaya restaurant . Izakaya translate as Stay(I)-Sake(Zaka)- store(Ya), since the origin was a Sake shop that served little bites for the customers who wanted to drink on the premises of the store that could date back to 9th century. Most of our dishes are for sharing with your friends and fellow diners just like Tapas style. Sushi, array of small plates and Ramen noodle is our specialty. We do have a long list of Sake to accommodate your meal along with local craft beer, Shochu, and wine. Come join us for a Japanese Izakaya experience, Kanpai!

This Japanese restaurant has a timeless interior and staff that reflect its long-standing history.

The menu is thoughtfully designed with smaller portions at reasonable prices, allowing us to try a variety of flavors in one visit.
Though the seasoning leaned a bit salty, the portions were just enough to satisfy without feeling heavy.

A well-balanced dining experience — both flavorful and light.

Very traditional and authentic Japanese Izakaya near Midtown area. Really loved the place and the food, you can definitely see everything is made with care. It can get really best depending on the day or hour thought, so keep that in mind.

Delicious and authentic izakaya with a very wide range of Japanese food to choose from. The staff work very hard and are incredibly polite and friendly. This is one of my favorite restaurants in Atlanta and I highly recommend it.

Awesome place, great friendly staff gives you the real Japanese Izakaya experience right here in the ATL. Everything I had from the Kushiyaki menu was delicious! (Chicken & Scallion, Chicken wing, shiitakes, the pork dumplings and the sukiyaki croquettes)

Ginya Izakaya is a must-try if you’re looking for authentic Japanese food in Atlanta. The food was excellent and the fish was incredibly fresh. The inside has a very authentic izakaya vibe that really makes the experience feel genuine.

The service was very good, and a lot of the staff are older Japanese employees—which really shows in the quality and authenticity of the food. You can tell there’s a lot of experience behind what they serve.

I ordered the spicy miso ramen, and the spice level was absolutely perfect—flavorful without being overwhelming. We also got the spicy kimchi, which was really good, and the Ginya Don, where the fish was almost perfect and clearly high quality. We started with the sashimi appetizer, and the fish was extremely fresh.

On top of all that, the prices are very affordable and not overly expensive for the quality you’re getting. Great food, great service, and a genuinely authentic atmosphere—definitely a place I’ll be coming back to.

This is my favorite restaurant in the entire world and I have been here many times but tonight our server was just so awful, she did not engage with us or communicate with us, in fact she couldn’t get away from our table quick enough every time she came by and it was incredible off putting. The food here is always great and the service has always been amazing but this girl needs to spend more time engaging with her guests. If I could eat here every day I would and I drive 40 minutes to come here but god I hope I don’t get this server again.

I don’t know how i’ve missed out on this place. The sushi was very fresh and the dishes creative. The scalloping octopus carpaccio is addictive. We sat at the sushi bar and had a blast talking to Momo, the chef.

Absolutely wonderful. Service is fantastic, food is stellar. It’s a quiet izakaya that doesn’t muss about with frivolity but does everything with intention. Big menu, something for everyone. Everything from big rice or noodle dishes to small tapas style dishes to sushi. Highly, highly recommend.

Very cozy place where you can comfortably seat in booths or at the bar with friends or family. The vibe makes you feel like being in Japan. The menu is characterized by wide selection of small size home-style dishes. Everything we ordered were fresh and good.

Come here more regularly than I’ve ever before at any other establishment. Super amazing staff all around. Great food. Had a large sector of the menu at this rate and EVERYthing I’ve had has been great. And still so much left to try. Crisp beer and fresh food. Good alone or with a group of friends big or small
